Breaking The Fourth Wall

Th sun creeped through the curtains waking you up, you reached over your bed to find Bucky wasn't there. A symbol of what happened last night.

"Look we've all been there right letting are fears and anger get the best of us. Intentionally expanding the false world we created"

You shook it of and buried your face in the covers as you heard footsteps running up the stairs.
"Mom are you coming down soon" Steve said.

"Mom are games freaking out" Rebecca said, you tried to block them out so you could get maybe just a few moments of extra sleep. "Is she asleep?"

"Mommy's not sleeping honey she's just resting her eyes"

"Mom my head feels weird it's like really noisy I don't like it"

you removed the covers from your face but your eyes where still closed and you whispered to the twins "resting her eyes" and the twins left your room.

"As punishment for my reckless evening I plan on taking a quarantine style staycation a whole day just to myself. That will show me"

You let out as sigh as you removed the cover from you, revealing that you were still in your Halloween costume from last night. You got up and put on some sweats with a dressing gown, tied your hair out of your face and made your way downstairs to the kitchen. You grabbed the almond milk from the fridge  and went to grab some cereal and a bowl. By the time you turned around with said bowl and cereal in hand the almond milk had changed to vitamin d milk, you were slightly weirded out but you shrugged it off and put the cereal and milk in the bowl but when you put the milk back on the side it changed once again from the cardboard vitamin d milk to being in a glass bottle. You sniffed the cereal to make sure it wasn't weird and left the kitchen for the living room leaving the milk on the side.

"Yeah I'm not sure what that's about, its probably just a case of the Mondays am I right"

"Have you seen your dad?" you said to the twins who were fiddling with their game.

"Uhm no want me to go look for him?"

"Well if he doesn't want to be here there's nothing I can do about it"

"Hey mom last night uncle Steve said something about re killing dad"

"Don't believe anything that man said he is not your uncle"

"Who is he?" Steve said obviously looking sad that the man he was named after didn't seem to be a nice person.

"Here's the thing kids I'm your mom and as such you are counting on me to have all the answers right well I don't I have no answers. zip zero zilch nada I'm starting, to believe that everything is meaningless. And your welcome to draw your own conclusion but that's just were I'm at"

"Ok so maybe I went to dark there but  they'll be fine. Bucky is part vibranium they literally inherited tough skin"

The twins both shared a look of confusion but you sat in-between them on the couch turned there game of and put on the weather channel. Just as you were getting comfortable someone knocked on the door so you opened the door from the couch with your powers to see it was Agnes.

"Hi Agnes come on in, I get up but you know I just don't want to"

"I think I got there in the nick of time because she was just one split end away from cutting her own bangs"
