Touya slowly put his face in his hands. This was his last day here...with Keigo. He probably wouldn't have another best friend, a friend in general actually. It was, Touya looked to the clock, 2:30 am and he hadn't slept a second. He reached up and scratched a forming burn, wincing at the pain.

Touya sat up in the dark he basically knew everything in the room without turning on the light. He would have to get up in three hours. That did not motivate him to try to sleep though. It was useless with a deadline of happiness creeping around the corner he couldn't sleep. In fact, Touya's thoughts kept being annoyingly invaded by Keigo's stupid face.

With his crimson wings and golden eyes. Touya silently cursed himself and pulled a feather out of his hair. Annoyingly those had been found everywhere. He tried to not think about Keigo 24/7 but at least 85% of Touya's thoughts had something to do with him. He gritted his teeth so irritating.

Touya closed his eyes a moment thinking intensely then his thought slowly trailed off. It was like his eyes were closed for 3 seconds when the alarm came on. Touya jumped violently and fell from the bed hitting the ground hard.

A blur of feathers shot across the room and there was a clattering of the alarm hitting the ground. "Touya? Touya, Touyaaa your awake right" Keigo said. Touya groaned from the ground "yeah I'm...awake" he muttered.

Keigo leapt from the top bunk onto Touya's chest. "owwww Keigo" he complained. "oh uh- sorry Touya you should have said you were on the ground." Keigo said. He hopped of of Touya.

"come on get your clothes on" he finished. Touya sighed and slowly sat up. He watched as Keigo kicked open the bathroom door and flipped on the light. Touya brought his hands up to shield his eyes from the light "come on just do it in the dark" Touya hissed trying to see. "nope! Touya you have to wake up you know you only have a day before you leave!" Keigo replied his head popping from behind the door frame holding a toothbrush.

Touya's heart dropped as he remembered that again. "yeah...right, I forgot" he muttered. He in fact had not forgotten he just didn't want to seem depressed.

"oops sorry you probably didn't want to remember that" he said. Touya glanced at his friend and got to his feet. "whatever" he muttered, pushing his way past Keigo. "oh come on Touya don't be so sad you'll definitely find a better friend than me!" Keigo said smiling. Touya stiffened "you are literally my only friend Keigo, even is I did find another person they wouldn't be nearly as charming as you" he said his voice thick with sarcasm.

"aww you think I'm charming" Keigo said.

"no" Touya replied

"well ow then that hurt" he muttered.

"good" Touya said unwrapping a bandage around his arm. Keigo squirmed clearly uncomfortable. Touya kept snatching glances of him as he cleaned it with soap. Then Keigo did the most random thing "hey you...want me to help?" he asked.

Touya looked up startled "what?" he said, shocked. "I asked to help! I know a nothing or two on bandaging things" Keigo said proudly. "yeah, sure you can help..." Touya responded. He held back a smile.

Keigo latched on to Touya refusing to let go "noooo Touya, nobody else likes me here" he wined. Touya struggled trying to force the clingy bird off of him "yeah, I don't blame them" he said managing to kick him off.

"but-but your unlikable and don't have any friends" Keigo said. Touya but a hand on his chest "ow" he muttered. "sorry" Keigo responded. "just because...I'm leaving doesn't mean we wont be friends any more" Touya spoke slowly.

"your so smart Touya...but I won't see you anymore" Keigo said sadly. Touya winced that almost hurt his heart. (key word: almost) "yeah I know that you just have to deal with it" he said.

A car pulled up loudly as Touya turned. He was silent "that's, my ride" he said at last. Keigo hugged him aggressively. "I'm never going to forget you Touya" he whispered. Touya stepped back and paused three steps away from the car. He turned and looked at Keigo with a smile,

"bye"
