Past: Chapter 3

"I was happy"

Hawks bounced up and down excitedly, he couldn't wait to see who his partner was. He kinda wanted it to be Touya but he seemed bad for Hawks quirk the...fire and all. So he was betting Touya's partner would have a water quirk of something like that. He was so into his thoughts he hadn't noticed he had been called  up with his partner. The (i don't know i'm calling him a general) general dragged him to the front. He glanced back at the class laughing at him while Touya kept his face in his hands. In fact to Keigo thought that Touya looked like he cared even though he had told him he didn't care. 

"your partner will be Rumi Usagiyama, got that Takami?" Keigo nodded quickly "yes sir" Rumi grinned at him and he could have sworn she mouthed 'I'm gonna beat you up' that kinda scared him. Keigo looked over at Touya who eyed Rumi as if he saw what she mouthed to. He noticed Keigo looking him so he turned away. 

He wasn't listening to the General talk and had zoned out. "Alright you little shits, were going to start training after lunch until then socialize with you partner or whatever, I don't care, I just have anything planned right now" Yamamoto walked over to his desk and sat down. 

"Takami right?" Rumi asked. Keigo blinked "huh?" she sighed "that's your name right?" It took Keigo a few seconds to register what she said "OH yeah, yeah...also did you say that you were gonna beat me up?" She shrugged "maybe" he was quiet a moment. "oh...what's your quirk?" 

She blinked then said "rabbit" Keigo paused "as in...you can do thing rabbits can do that's awesome like you can jump high and...can you eat food really fast? Oh can you run fast to? Rabbits run pretty fast..." Rumi laughed "your really nice" she said. Keigo shrugged "I've lived here my whole life being friendly is just me trying to get friends" Rumi stared at him in shock "you've lived here your whole life? wow..." He nodded "well actually I was found and they took me in for quirk training so I use my feathers for lots of things I can control them and I use them as a sword they harden its pretty cool I can also fly but I'm more bad at that part I'm really bad at turning..." He stopped realizing he was talking to much. "you talk a lot" Rumi noted. "It's the syndrome from only talking to adults just kidding that's not real thing but if it was I would have it totally" 

Rumi looked across the class "who was that looking at you?" she asked. "who?" Keigo said confused. Rumi pointed at Touya, who was with a boy with blue hair and brown streaks. Keigo stifled a laugh "he looks miserable!" Rumi looked at Touya "what's his name?" Keigo was still trying not to laugh but he managed to reply "his name is Touya Todoroki, do you know the other person?" Rumi nodded "that's Ezume, his quirk is weird he can manipulate sand and water with a different hand, but he cant make sand or water there has to be some around" then both of them said at the same time "that limited" They looked at each other "oh my god we think the same!" Rumi said excitedly "yeah that's so cool! Wait...to prove it what am I thinking right now" Keigo said. Rumi paused and closed to think "your hungry?" she guessed. "RIGHT ON SPOT" Keigo shouted and spread his wings quite fast and hit Rumi in the face "oh sorry are you okay" 

"yeah I'm okay...ooh your wings are really cool" She said as she stroked the feathers muttering "they get longer in length as they grow...whoa..." She looked up "you said you can harden the feathers?" she asked "yeah" She smiled mischievously "okay imagine WING BLADES" She said and did jazz hands. "okay that's awesome but my feathers aren't long enough for that all I can really do are knifes" Keigo told her. Rumi pondered that "yeah but you know how quirks, mutation quirks, grow larger? Well your wings would probably get larger so the feathers would to so...in theory you could have feather blades when your...16? I don't know the quirk wouldn't be fully developed but the feathers would be large enough" Keigo thought about it "that would be awesome" he grinned "I know" Rumi responded

******tImE sKiP to LUNCH******

"Touya, Touya, Touya, hey hey Touya" Keigo pestered. "yeah?" Touya responded ignoring the first part. "so my partner was a bunny...wait no a rabbit she was really smart and nice what your partner like?" He said sitting down next to Touya. 

Like the rest of the building the cafeteria was mainly black and white. The walls were white and the tables were black the floor was just...a checkerboard. "oh well...for starters he wasn't NEARLY as annoying as you. But he was kind of...I don't even know" Touya said quietly "YES I retain record for being annoying, hah, no one can out annoy me" Keigo said happily. Touya simply ate he food while Keigo talking and ate at the same which was really weird. Touya sighed "do you ever stop talking?" he asked. "NOPE, once I talked for 4 hours straight" Touya sighed again "is this gonna be one of those days?" he asked. Keigo shook his head "no I had a sore throat for two weeks that was not I'm never doing that ever ever again...hey actually I have a good question" Touya glanced at Keigo "yeah??" Keigo stared at him a few moments making Touya feel uncomfortable. 

"you seem like you don't like Endeavor, why?" Touya was quiet. He didn't want to answer this "uh...well...how do I phrase this...he wants to surpass All Might with whatever it takes," he looked Keigo in the eye "whatever...it..takes...okay Keigo whatever that's the only thing that matters to him" He trailed off. Keigo blinked confusedly "how is that...," he he noticed Touya  looked pretty sad so he just shut up. 

They sat in silence for a long time until Touya spoke "look Keigo you should still like him even if I don't its just a personal thing" Keigo glanced at him "but...you have a dad and I think you should love him I don't know maybe...that I never really had a father and I'm a little jealous" Touya started "your...jealous??" he asked slightly shocked. Keigo laughed "yeah its really stupid but I am!" Touya smiled.

It was the first time he smiled for real in a long time. It was weird. There was something about Keigo he just couldn't name what it was. "wow Keigo I was jealous of you" 

"why your dad is ENDEAVOR I don't get what can be better than that" Keigo said dreamily "Endeavor..." Touya faked a gag "wow okay that's disgusting" Keigo glared at him "well if my dad was Endeavor I would be more great full than you," He stood up "whelp, lunch is basically over" 

Keigo hopped to put his tray back sometimes using his wings to propel himself. Touya got up to follow Keigo but he stopped. He realized he had smiled "oh...," he said out loud "so that's what it is...I was happy"

I actually enjoyed writing this I was suspended off pinterest so I'm probably going to write more I'm very sad i miss it already i don't know what i did to get suspended...
