Chapter 4: New girl in town

(Issei POV)

I was on my way to school alone, Y/N left earlier than me because Rias wanted to talk about the pact he made with Kiba's client. And after Rias had chided me for not being careful with my sacred gear and other stuff I felt like I messed everything up. DAMMIT WHY AM I SUCH AN IDIOT?!

All of a sudden I hear a girl scream I look to my side and see a blonde girl with emerald green eyes she told me her name is Asia Argento and she was a nun looking for the church in town and asked me if I could help her find it. We were walking by until we heard a little boy crying, Asia went up to him and saw he had hurt his leg.

Asia: "A big boy like you shouldn't cry over a little scrape don't worry your gonna be fine" The nun said while putting her hands over the boy's injury and out of nowhere her hands started to glow and healing the boy's wound.

Issei: "Woah... She's healing him" I was surprised and suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my left hand for some reason.

Asia: "You see, nothing to cry about" She said standing up and looking back at me "All done now, sorry" We continued walking as I questioned why body felt so weird all of a sudden

Asia: "I'm sorry, you must be surprised"

Issei: "Huh? Oh, no problem but it sure is a nice power you have there"

Asia: "Thank you, I consider it a gift and a blessing" Asia says with a gentle smile but soon after she looks down with the smile fading from her lips "Truly... It's wonderful" Asia then looks up to see the church on top of the hills "Look there it is!"

Issei: "Yeah sure is, the only church we have" My body then felt an ominous presence as soon as I looked towards the church "Though it's weird I've never seen anybody in there, not a single person"

Asia: "Please, let me thank you properly would it be a problem for you to come inside with me?"

Issei: "I-I can't the thing is... I have somewhere to be"

Asia: "Oh that's okay, it was sweet of you to help me find the way"

Issei: "Yeah, no problem"

Asia: "It was a blessing meeting you, if your ever bored or in the neighbourhood come visit me at the church"

Issei: "Sounds awesome, I'll see you soon"

==TIMESKIP==

I arrived at school and told Rias about what happened she pulled me and Y/N to the side saying she wanted to talk to us.

Rias: "Issei, you must never go near the church again. That's the same for you Y/N"

Issei: "What why?"

Y/N: "Because for devils like us that place is considered enemy territory simply setting foot inside would create problems for both angels and devils"

Rias: "Wow, someone's been studying"

Y/N: "Well, actually I just asked Rossweisse and Akeno about it"

Rias: "Either way, it's exactly as Y/N said. Not only would it cause problems but it would also be extremely dangerous. Surely something was telling you to be careful"

Issei: "So that's what it was, when I went near the church suddenly I felt a chill in my body and my left hand tensed up"

Rias: "Some of the exorcists who are affiliated with the church use sacred gears, you could get really hurt if your not careful" I felt like I was just getting scolded again

Rias: "Issei"

Issei: "Yeah, I'm listening"

Rias: "Just know that if a devil receives a purge it is the end of the line, they're gone forever. You can never get back from that"
