Bucky's POV:

As soon as we arrive back to the Avengers tower, I let my exhausted body fall over onto the couch. Not only does my body drop, but so does my heart by knowing Y/N didn't make it back. Natasha and Wanda's face say it all; Loki, betrayed us again, like the douchebag he's always been. I should've been there to protect Y/N, but I was too proud and now I have to face the consequences of my actions.

I sit up on the couch, and lean forward, holding my palms together as my elbows rest of my legs. I feel a strong grip be placed on my shoulder.

"We'll get her back buddy." Steve's voice is low and carries sadness.

"We should've known better, we should have fuckin' known." I move my fisted hand and cover my face in shame.

"It's not your fault, this'll be the last time Loki fools us." He reassures me and sits down next to me. I look at him as our eyes lock in courage. We're interrupted by Bruce, who enters the room after having taken care of Thor in the infirmary.

"He'll be fine." He rubs his hands together. "After all, he is a god." He grins.

"How will we get her back." I sigh as I let myself fall against the back of the couch. "We need to go fast."

"I don't know how fast we'll get her rescue going after the absolute beating we received out there in Asgard against the Frost Giants. If it wasn't for Wanda and Natasha coming in last minute, who knows if we would have escaped."

"But we're here now, right? Let's get going then."

"Not so fast." Falcon says. "We are going to need some help if we're going to go back there. They must be expecting us."

"Yeah, and a new transport. Wanda can't teleport us again." Steve says.

I lift myself from the couch, pulling myself together. "I'm going to get Y/N back, and kill Loki for what he did." Through the door comes Wanda, Natasha and Tony. They are already geared up. To my surprise, they are not the only ones who came by to help; Spiderman, Vision, War Machine, Black Panther and last but certainly not least, Captain Marvel enter the room.

"I'm so glad you guys replied to the call." Steve says.

"Well, after you explained the importance of this so-called Y/N, we couldn't refuse."

"If the Frost Giants use her against us it could be a huge loss for Earth." Black Panther continues. "We will get her back."

I can't help but lightly smile at T'Challa's statement. I can't bear the thought of Y/N being left all alone after everything we've been through. I will rescue her as she once rescued me.

Y/N's POV:

I can barely feel my legs. It's freezing down here, which makes me even weaker. I've been here for hours and Laufey hasn't come down to interrogate me. Suddenly, I hear footsteps approaching. I look up to Loki who is standing on the other side of the cells. "What do you want?" I ask coldly without making eye contact.

"Now now Y/N, I've solely come to see how you were holding up, if it's all the same to you." He says, holding his arms up to show he means no harm.

"I don't want to see you." My cold wet hair falls over my face, I can feel him walk closer to the cell bars. My eyes glide to the side, seeing his figure crouch down and sigh.

"I had to Y/N."

I move my head up, and face him fully. My eyes move up to his face and look into his eyes, yet I do not recognize the Loki I would always see when I would look into his eyes while we read books and practiced together in the library I miss so much. His eyes made it seem like he was facing an internal conflict.
