Chapter 21

Nara's POV

The next morning, I woke up and felt that my cheek was completely healed. The bruise was gone, I thought to myself. I slowly sit up on the couch and saw Minhyun sleeping on the spare mattress that my mom provided for him to sleep with me last night. Then, I touched my lips for a second and... I was shocked that he actually pecked my lips while I was asleep.

I blushed at that thought and it's my first peck from him (it's not counted as a kiss, though). I looked at our hands that intertwined with each other and I glanced at his sleeping figure. How I missed his handsome face when he slept like that.

(A/N: Let's assume that Nara's dad is currently working as a construction worker in Daegu and he only goes home every month.)

Then, my mother went downstairs and greeted me, "Good morning, dear. How was your sleep? Is your cheek completely healed?" She smiled and sat beside me, "Good morning too, eomma. It was fine and the bruise on my cheek is gone." I answered, "Is Minhyun dear still sleeping?" "Yep. He sure is a deep slumber." Both of us giggled softly, then my mother stood up to cook breakfast for us.

Right then, Minhyun slowly opened his eyes and yawns softly. I sat beside him and caressed his soft and messy hair, "Good morning, Minhyun oppa..." I greeted him and to return his love for me, I pecked his lips and he smiled at me, "Good morning too, Nara.... Should I use 'jagiya' as our endearment from now on?"

I giggled then nod, "Sure... Jagiya. Come, eomma is cooking breakfast for the three of us." I smiled then he stood up, "Kaja?" "Ne." And we both went to the kitchen to help her.

After we finished eating breakfast, Minhyun and I decided to go to Nu'EST's dorm since the Talent Show is only a few days away from now. When we get in, we saw that the 4 boys are busy practicing for their performance at the event at school. "Hello Nara and Minhyun hyung~ You came just in time." JR said and he went to get a bottle of water.

"Sorry if I woke up late. I stayed with Nara and her mom at their house last night." Minhyun said and went in front of the glass mirror wall to warm up for a while for their practice. "How is your cheek, noona?" Ren asked me and smiled cutely (Aigoo, for a guy who looks like a girl has somehow got a cute eyesmile), "The bruise on my cheek is completely healed, saeng." I smiled back at him.

"Nara noona, are you and your friends going to participate for the Talent Show?" Baekho asked. Omo! Now that he mentioned it, I totally forgot that I had a practice with my friends for the Talent Show too *mental facepalm* "Yeah. My friends and I are going to participate for the event." I calmly answered.

"I guess your friends are waiting for you there, noona." Aron said, "Yeah. I better get going guys. I'll see you later after our practice." I smiled and head out to our dance studio for our practice.

My friends and I are currently practicing for our performance at the Talent Show but then Alice's ankle was sprained, "Aww! I sprained my ankle!" She winced in pain, "Omo! We can't perform without Alice eonni at the Talent Show." Yooyoung looked worried about Alice, "I'll be fine, guys. Don't worry about my ankle. I can still dance." Alice insisted, "Your ankle is injured, Alice. You need to rest your ankle for a while." Ara said.

I just listened to their conversation and I went to get the bottle of water, then my phone buzzed and I saw a message from Minhyun.

Jagiya, how's practice?

-Minhyun<3

I replied:

It was great but Alice sprained her ankle while we were practicing.

After I finished drinking my water bottle, Ara went to me and said, "We'll resume our practice, Nara." "Is Alice going to be fine?" I asked, "Yes. She'll be fine." She smiled and we resumed our practice without Alice.
