Chapter 9

At lunch, I was eating with my 5 best friends at our reserved table in the cafeteria while Nu'EST were busy with their "fanmeeting" with their fans. Sheesh... Those girls need to get a life and stop being so obssesive to them, Nu'EST are just like us, they need to treat them like ordinary people. As I turned to glanced at them, I noticed that the members were only 4 during the "fanmeeting". I think Minhyun was not there during lunch and I remembered the letter that he gave me when I entered the room a few hours ago.

"Guys, I need to meet with someone at the rooftop." I said, but then Lime complained, "What about your food? You need to finish eating that before you can go." "Yeah. Lime's right, who is this someone you're referring to?" Alice asked with a cold tone. "Just someone from my class." I answered but at the same time, lied. "Um... Okay. If it's that important." Yoonjo said. "Thanks. I better get going now." I waved at my best friends while walking towards the rooftop of the building.

After Nara left..

Alice: Have you guys noticed that Nara's acting strange lately?

Yooyoung: Yes. I think she's still can't get over about what happened the other day.

Yoonjo: Did you mean when Nara saw Minhyun face to face when they walked right in front of her?

Yooyoung: Exactly. And I'm pretty sure that she's meeting with Minhyun at the rooftop.

Lime: What?! She lied to us~

Alice: Don't be mad at her, it's just what Nara thinks about. Let her respect her privacy with one of the handsome boys in school.

Yoonjo: I don't mean to interrupt but notice the members as well..

-the 5 girls glanced at the members who were busy with their fan signing-

Lime: They were only 4 of them?!

Alice: Yes. Minhyun went to the rooftop just to meet Nara so that he will avoid being stalked by fangirls.

Yoonjo: I'm kinda envy Nara though..

Yooyoung: Me too, although he's my crush... *giggling*

Alice: Enough with your fantasies, Yooyoung. Nara will meet with Minhyun today because she will be great having him as her friend.

Lime: Yeah. I'm proud of her. *smiling*

I arrived at the rooftop of the building and the wind touches my face, it feels so cold so I looked for Minhyun if he was here all along. "Kwon Nara." A voice not far from what I'm standing was calling me and I'm guessing that it was Minhyun but wait, how did he know my full name? o.o I searched for him and I finally saw him, went to him and smile shyly, "Annyeong!" "Hey. Thanks for receiving my letters, Nara" (Hahaha! My predictions are correct. It was HIM who wrote those letters to me). "Um.. You're welcome." I just giggled. "You looked cute when you laugh." This time, he flashed a smile. Gahd! His smile killed me that I want to faint. "Anyway, why did you sneak away from the fangirls today? Are they bothering you?" I asked with courage. "Well, it's because I don't want anyone seeing me going to the rooftop so that the others won't know. I'll let you in on a tiny secret: I hate people stalking me. They don't respect my privacy, which annoyed me." So that's why he's acting a bit strange today.

~A few conversations later~

"It was nice talking to you, Nara. I have a great time." He flashes another smile in front of me >< Somebody kill me now! "Me too, Minhyun. I also have a great time as well. By the way, you don't want to.. hang out with your members after school?" "Hmm... I'll think about it. Can I ask for your phone number?" Wow! This is just unexpected. I was blushing so bad and nodded shyly, "S-sure.." I quickly grabbed my phone from my pocket, dialed my number and show it to him. After we exchanged our phone numbers, he said, "I'll get going now, Nara. Annyeong!" "Annyeong!" He went off and was blushing so bad that I've met with Minhyun in person. But inside, I'm glad that I've made another friend. One question remains: Is he going to reveal his feelings for me someday?
