Chapter 20

Nara's POV

I decided to erase that thought in my head and feel like nothing happened for the rest of the day. The whole day without Alice  seemed to flew by very slow and everytime I walked along the hallway, some students threw death glares at me, others were whispering about the incident at the park and they just can't seem to get over through that issue.

Hadn't these people had enough? I don't understand why I am always the talk of the town. I heard one student whispering to another student saying, "I hate her! She shouldn't hang out with a popular guy like my Minhyun oppa." The other student whispered back, "I agree. She needs to watch her moves and who knows bad karma will come back to her." Both of them smirked evily at me like they wanted to bully me.

I went to the girls' CR and suddenly, 5 girls appeared before me. One of the girls laughed evily and pinned me on the wall, I tried to break through but it was useless, "You have nowhere else to run, you bitch! Hanging out with my Minhyun oppa? That's unacceptable!"

Then she threw me down on the floor and the 5 girls all laughed like an evil witch. Those girls had nothing to do with my boyfriend, Minhyun, another girl slapped my cheek very hard and I winced in pain. "You poor defenseless little bitch! You don't deserve to be here! You're such a weak girl!" Two girls started to kick my stomach and I winced in pain even more.

I can't bear the pain because I've been bullied by 5 girls. I wanted to call for help but then I can't scream.

Minhyun, please help me...

Minhyun's POV

I was at the campus gates with my fellow members and we were waiting for my girlfriend, Nara to come out of the lobby. What's taking her so long? I've been worried sick about her.

"Something's not right." Aron mumbled, the 4 of us started to feel worried. Baekho sensed it too, "Something happened to Nara. Let's go!" We nodded and went back inside the academy to look for Nara.

I hope she's okay.

Right then, JR and Ren heard someone shouting, "I think I hear something... It's coming from the girls' CR!"  We all ran to the girls' CR and we saw Nara bullied by 5 girls. "Hey! Let go of her!" I shouted at the girls, they felt scared when they saw us and they tried to ran away from us but Baekho and Aron cornered them, "Not so fast, girls. You're messing the wrong girl to pick on with." The girls trembled in fear, one of them said, "Nu'EST are so scary!" Baekho smirked, "Oh you better be scaredy cats, girls."

Aron unpinned the IDs of the girls and said, "We shall report this to the Principal's office and expect your expulsion tomorrow." He said with rage and anger on his face. The girls ran away and vanished, I went to Nara with JR and Ren to help stand up.

"Are you okay noona?" Ren asked her, she shook her head and answered, "No." JR noticed Nara's face has already swelled up, "Let's get you home, Nara." I said and we went out of the campus gates and I hailed a cab. In less than a minute, the cab arrived and the 6 of us went in.

While we were inside, Nara cried on my chest and hugging close to me. I rubbed her back and whispered, "It's okay, I'm here now." She sniffed quietly and buries her face on my chest. After a while, we arrived at Nara's house. We got off the cab and Aron paid to the driver, I carried Nara bridal style and I saw her mom approaching us.

"What happened?" She asked in worry, I answered, "Nara was beaten up by 5 girls at the girls' CR and her face is swelling up." "Oh dear... My poor Nara... Let's go inside." We went inside their house and I slowly put Nara down on their couch. Her mother went to get the first aid kit from their bathroom and started to treat her wounds. "Ouch!" Nara winced in pain as her mom put some gauze on her swelled cheek.

After her mom is finished treating Nara's wounds, she said to me, "Thank you for bringing my daughter home, Minhyun dear. We really owed you one." I bowed politely in front of her mom and said, "You're welcome, eomma. It was nothing." I blushed a bit then sat beside Nara, who is sleeping peacefully.

I stroke her hair gently then Baekho said, "Um... Mrs. Kwon, we'll be leaving now." "Oh okay. Thanks for your help." She smiled, the 4 of them went home and I decided to stay here at their house for the night.

Right before I went to sleep with Nara at their living room, her mom went to get a spare mattress from their storage room and said, "You can use this mattress, Minhyun dear. It hasn't been used for a long time but it is still comfy." "Thank you, eomma. Good night." I smiled at her and greeted back, "Good night too." She went to her room to sleep, I slowly lie down on the mattress near Nara, I hold her hand and pecked it gently.

"I will never leave you.. I'll always be here for you, Nara. Saranghae." I whispered then I unexpectedly pecked her lips, which must be surprisingly unexpected and I slowly drifted off to sleep.
