Chapter 7

I arrived home at 6pm in the evening, I saw my eomma cooking dinner for us and I exclaimed, "Eomma, I'm home!" My eomma saw me and flashed a smile, "Good that you're home, dear. I cooked bulgogi for us. How was school?" She asked me. "It was great because I met new friends at the academy, eomma." I beamed and went upstairs towards my room. "If you're finished changing your uniform, come down here afterwards eo?" "I will eomma." I went inside my room and put down my bag on the floor in front of the bed. After I changed my uniform, I quickly grabbed the towel, went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. A few minutes after that, I went to the closet to grab my pair of pajamas.

I put my pajamas on and quickly went downstairs to eat dinner with eomma. My dad works in the repair shop near our house so he usually goes home late at night just for the sake of my studies. After eomma finished serving the food on the table, she sat down on the chair across me, "Let's eat now, dear" She smiled at me and we started eating, her cooking is stunning because I like the way she cooks my food. After a long silence, eomma mumbled, "Dear, the reason that your appa and I sent you to Pledis Academy is because we wanted to see you change for the better so that you won't be the Nara, whose IQ is low so I hope that you will be active at school. You promise?" "I promise, eomma." "And you promised to us that you will be careful in choosing your friends because someday, your friends might be your best enemies." "I will be careful, eomma." I said and finished eating after our conversation have come to an end.

Before I head to my room, I muttered, "Good night eomma." I pecked her cheek and she smiled, "Good night, dear." I went upstairs quickly to my room and opened my laptop to do some research about Nu'EST. I have no intention of stalking them, but I wanted to dig deeper for more information about them. As I browsed their images on a website, my jaw dropped. I never knew that all 5 of them are so handsome and good-looking (so that's why they are very popular at Pledis Academy). I glanced at Minhyun, the boy who caught my attention and stared at me with his handsome face RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Until now, I still can't erase the details of his face and I remembered the letter that I received on my desk after lunch today. I went to check my bag and get the letter, if my predictions are correct, I am sure that Minhyun gave me this letter only that he has no courage to talk to me in person but he wanted to be his friend. Sigh. If only if I was right.

After a few minutes, I switched my laptop off and flopped on my bed. If I can't sleep properly tonight, I swear I will have eyebags the next day because of Minhyun-- What the?! What did I just say, I'm already thinking of him because of his handsome face. Hwang Minhyun, you better get ready tomorrow!
