Chapter 17

Nara's POV

That's strange... Minhyun didn't go to school today. I wonder what's wrong with him? As I walked along the corridor, many students were glaring at me and whispered about something. What's wrong with everyone today? I had a bad feeling about this...

I went to the cafeteria to hang with Nu'EST and again, many students (particularly girls) sent death glares at me and I immediately sat down with them. I noticed that Minhyun wasn't with them, "I wonder what's wrong with those people today? They always glared at me." I asked them, JR answered, "Oh! You're here, noona. Last night, some stalker took a photo of you and Minhyun at the park. The news spread really fast around the academy but the news spread first to Minhyun's father."

I was shocked after what JR said to me.

Oh no... I'm in big big trouble...

Baekho added, "There's another bad news, noona..."

"What is it?" I asked, worriedly.

"Your boyfriend, Minhyun, got into the hospital last night."

I stunned and accidently dropped the carton of milk that I was drinking, tears fell on my eyes and I cried softly, "W-wae?! What happened to him?!" I stuttered while crying.

This is all my fault...

Aron muttered, "His father punched and kicked Minhyun's stomach many times after the news reached to his father."

Lime and the rest of my friends came and sat beside me, Yoonjo comforted me and said, "We all knew what happened to Minhyun and the news about you and him hugging at the park for your date last night."

Ren joined the conversation, "Minhyun's mother called me last night. She told me she overheard Minhyun and his father's conversation. She heard that if Minhyun makes one false move, his father will force him to transfer to another school."

All of us were shocked and Alice muttered, "Minhyun's father is so strict to him. That's not fair!" She whined, (she looks cute when she whine like that).

Ara added, "Let's visit Minhyun at the hospital later after school, yeoreobun." We all agreed to her statement, Yooyoung hugged me and said, "Don't worry, Nara unni. Everything will be okay." She smiled at me to cheer me up.

"Yeah. I hope so." I nodded and smiled a bit.

The bell rang and I barely even eat, I only drank milk for lunch and all of us went back to our classrooms. I just hope Minhyun is in stable condition.
