Chapter 11

Another school day has ended, I grabbed my bag and went out of the classroom. I immediately send a text to Lime:

Hi Lime unni~ I'm not going with you and the rest of the girls today. I have to go somewhere.

Nara

I lied at the last part and after a few minutes, Lime replied:

I understand, Nara. Be safe on your way home, arasseo?

-Lime

Ne. I'll hang out with you guys next time.

-Nara

I head out of the campus gate and making my way towards Nu'EST's dorm. It was actually my first time going to their dorm because I'll be meeting Minhyun's fellow members in person. Minhyun told me earlier that he'll inform his members that they should be nice to me, I don't want my best friends to find out that I'm hanging out with them.

I just shrugged at the thought that they'll tease me the next day. Right then, my phone buzzed and Minhyun called, "Yeoboseyo?" I answered his call. "Annyeong, Nara. Where are you?" Minhyun asked. "I'm almost there. Are your friends arrived at your dorm?" "Ne. They're very eager to meet you." "Arasseo. I'm on my way." I ended the call, still walking towards their dorm until... I actually made it. I finally arrived at NU'EST's dorm, I took a deep breath and went inside. "Wow!" was the word I could mutter, I was speechless of how big their dorm is.

I looked around to find where their room is, I saw a paper that is written in all caps: NU'EST'S ROOM. This must be their room, I thought to myself. I leaned my ear on the door and I could hear laughter from inside, the Nu'EST members must be talking about something. Once again, I felt nervous but then this is now or never. I quietly opened the door and let myself in.

Minhyun's POV

What's taking her so long? I thought to myself. Nara promised that she'll be here any minute now, we were busy talking about things that only 5 of us are related about. Baekho kept on laughing, "Did you see the look on the guy's face when he accidently dropped the plate on the floor... IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CROWD AT THE CAFETERIA DURING LUNCH?" Aron joined the laughter and said, "Yeah. His expression looks dumb and was humiliated in front of everyone." Ren and JR kept quiet, inside I was laughing because of Baekho's antics.

Suddenly, the 5 of us heard a squeaky sound. We turned to see Nara and she's finally here, "Annyeong!" She bowed in front of us. "We've been waiting for you." The 5 of us said in unison, I saw from the look on her face that she felt shy. "Don't be shy, Nara. We're not going to bite you or anything." JR muttered. Nara went to our direction but then she tripped her foot and fell down on the floor. I quickly went to her, "Are you okay?" "I'm fine, Minhyun. I'm so clumsy..." I held her arm and helped her stand up.

"Thanks." She thanked me, I smiled at her as a sign of "You're welcome". Both of us went to the couch, I let her sit first because I wanted to act like a gentleman to her. She flashed a sweet smile at me, she looks beautiful when she smiled like that, I sat down beside her comfortably. "Now you're here, Nara, I'll introduce you to my members: This is our leader, JR. When you first saw him, many boys are afraid of him because of his cold aura. He's also concerned of bullies at Pledis Academy and if a student who bullies another student, he'll say--"

JR interrupted my sentence and muttered, "I don't want to hurt you but you picked the wrong person to deal with. Expect your expulsion tomorrow." Nara nodded and I continued, "This is our oldest member, Aron. He's from the US and he's Korean-American, he came here a few years ago and we've met when we were classmates in our middle school years. This is Baekho, it's a Korean word which means, 'white tiger'. His stage name fits him because of his fair skin and he is a skilled martial artist. Last but not the least is our dear maknae, Ren. People mistaken him as a girl because of his facial structure but they're wrong. If someone mutters that, he always stares at that person with his poker face."

Nara interrupted and asked, "Is Ren considered as 'Ice Prince'?" "Yes. He's also the most popular member at Pledis Academy and everytime students were at the same room as him, fangirls squealed and started murmuring about him, which he dislikes the most." I answered. Nara stood up and bows in front of them, "Annyeonghaseyo! Kwon Nara imnida, I was born and raised in Gwangju but my parents decided to moved here in Daegu because they can't afford the tuition increase back at my previous school. It's nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you too, Nara!" The 4 of them, except me, said in unison. She smiled.

I finally met Minhyun's friends and they're not so bad after all (if you're nice to them). The members prepared cookies for me, I didn't know that these guys can bake cookies for a girl, like me. "Hope you like it, Nara." Ren said, I grabbed one cookie and tasted it... "How is it?" Minhyun asked. I gave them two "thumbs up" and they cheered because they knew I liked their cookies. "She liked them! Daebak!" Baekho cheered.

A few minutes passed...

I glanced at my watch: 6:50pm. Omo! I'm late! My mother will be so worried about me, I stood up, bowed in front of the members and said, "Thanks for the time, guys but I really need to go home. I'm way past my curfew." Minhyun stood up and said, "I'll take you home, Nara. You'll be home in no time." I smiled at him, "Take care of yourself, Nara." JR said. I nodded, Minhyun and I went out of their dorm. We walked to a parking lot where his car parked in front of their dorm. I didn't know he could drive, I thought to myself. He opened the door for me, I smiled at him, "Thanks Minhyun." He smiled back and went to the driver's seat. He started the engine and he drive to my place, I felt sleepy so I fell asleep...

At Nara's room...

I slowly woke up and I found myself that I'm in my room. "Mwo?! How did I get here?" I turned to face Minhyun and he was smiling from ear to ear, "You fell asleep while I'm driving you home, Nara." I blushed madly because I was so sleepy. Facepalm. "Anyway, I need to get going, Nara. See you tomorrow at school." He stood up and I smiled, "Ne. See you tomorrow, Minhyun." He left the room with a wide smile on his face and I lay down on the bed, drifting to sleep.
