Stuckys daughter (avengers)

Part 20

I heard my dads arguing. Peter was asleep so I stood up and went to the top of the stairs. "Bucky we can't tell her yet" dad says. "We have to Steve" dad reply's. "no Bucky it will be to hard on her she already ran away twice" dad says. They keep going back and forth. "Fine but your telling her buck" I hear dad say.

"Why me" dad says. "Your the one who wants too" dad reply's back. "Your also the favourite" dad adds. "I can't tell her she's adopted she will hate me" dad says. I feel my heart sink in my chest. I stand up and calmly walk down stairs. "I'm what" I say my eyes pricked with tears.

They both look at me. "You heard" dad says. Tears start rolling down my face. "I'm what" I say again. I can see they are both getting emotional too. "Dad what did you say" I say. Neither of them say anything.

"DAD" I yell my voice shaking. "River I'm so sorry" they say. "How HOW HOW HOW" I start yelling "HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE" I say crying. Peter comes running downstairs. "Babe what's up" he say. "Ask them" I say gesturing to my "dads" and run upstairs.

"Guys what was that about" peter says. "Peter river isn't our child" Bucky says. Peter Facial expression changes. "What do you mean" he says. "She adopted" Steve says. "Her real mother and father were from some town in North Carolina and the dad was killed" Bucky says. "Omg" Peter says. "How does she have powers then" peter says.....

I was sat in bed still crying when Peter walks in. "Babe I'm so sorry" he says. After he walks in and shuts the door I let out a huge scream. "WHY WHY WHY" I start yelling. Peter comes up to me. "Babe listen your dads love you very much and they always have and will" he says. "Just cause they aren't biological doesn't mean they are not family" he says. Tears are still streaming down my face.

"I guess your right, they have taken care of me all this time" I say resting my head on peters lap. "Yes they have" he says. After a while I decide to go and talk to them. I stand up take a deep breath and walk downstairs.

"River" dad says. He runs over and hugs me. "I'm sorry we didn't tell you" they say. I smile. "you didn't want to hurt me" I say. "It's ok, your still my dads and I love you" I say. They smile and we all hug. "I'm glad" that say. "But if I'm not your child how do I have powers" I ask. They both look at each other. "Your real mother was a witch" dad says. "A what" I say. "Peter was fucking right" I say. "LANGUAGE" dad say. Peter comes rushing down stairs. "I was right" he says. "Yes I'm a witch" I say laughing. "Wait did you say was..."  I say looking at dad.
