The next morning, Eclipse woke up first as usual and groggily got up to wake the others. Since they were all piled together, Eclipse simply shook them all in an attempt to awaken them. Mary moaned in complaint and swatted her away tiredly, as the siblings quietly mumbled for her to go away and allow them to sleep.

"You guys, wake up! We need to start heading to the market to see if we can find money and food. If you don't get up there won't be breakfast. Oh, come on, don't be lazy."

"But Eclipse-" they grumbled in protest.

"No. No buts." she interrupted sternly.

Looking weary, they got up glaring at the eldest in irritation. At least that was until their stomachs rumbled hungrily.

They speedily made sure their bags were ready to go and, following Eclipse they snuck out of the shop. Thankfully, while making their way to the market they didn't run into any trouble. But that changed quickly...

Upon entering, they made sure to stay clear of the officers as well as the guards.

Once they felt like they were safely out of the danger of getting caught, they began to scour the area for any stray money. Together, the group collected enough to be able to buy a few scraps of food. They, then, set off to the tiny alleyway that led to the small uninhabited crossway that they usually went to so they could eat without fearing getting caught.

As they ate peacefully, the ground began to tremble, the air smelled of smoke and screams of panic could be heard over a rumbling noise that was steadily growing louder. Concern mixed with a hint of confusion was written all over their faces, they got up to see what was going on.

As they approached the exit of the alley, cries became louder and louder. Peeking out, the only thing they could see was utter and utmost chaos. Everywhere they looked were people shoving others out of the way. Suddenly a voice rose above all the others:

"Run! Save yourselves! Quickly! Run while you still can! The volcano is going to erupt!"
