The twelfth of July had dawned in by heavy gusts of winds that whirled all over the city of Joy, Kolkata; grey clouds of sorrow had surrounded the town, the drizzling appearing as if the cry of nature was not willing to die down, soon; the glimmers of light well hidden behind the dusky shadows of the grief-pregnant clouds lit no hope for the angry minds of human.
The day had not been a day to remember and certainly, not a day, Tushar could deem as bad, oh, it was indeed worse. Might have been the worst day of his existence to date. Nevertheless, he had had to keep moving ahead despite the bad weather, otherwise, he would have been quite late as if he had not been, already.
Accelerating his car, he had strived to take a turn, in the hope of reaching his destination a bit earlier, however, never knowing something was up to change his life, forever.
Never did he know, something was to happen that could bring a new dawn to the dusk of his life.
Never did he know, somebody would one day, change his perception towards everything that life had.
Because little did he realise, somebody would come right in front of his, beholden to God, slowly moving car, clashing into it.
Cursing and halting, all of an abrupt, Tushar had, that fateful day, fearfully, dared to look ahead, only for a cry of despair and fear to break out of him...
Because that day, it was none other than Nandini Roy, laying right in front of him.
And, in that tranquil surrounding, beneath the canopy of nature, soaking wet with the wail of the sky, in hushed breathings of those unfriendly winds, Nandini had, in a way unknown to her, entered the life of Tushar Chatterjee.
