Angelwing didn't realize how large the Sky kingdom was until she had to fly out of it. They had been flying for about two days straight, for fear that the Skywings would be looking for them. Her wings ached and she honestly felt like they were gonna fall off. She had never flown this far and long all at once... ever. Dragonfruit and Asher looked discomforted as well. Mystic and Wintertide looked fine, like the had done this before. And, Bluemoon looked as if he had just had a good night sleep and had just started the journey.

This left her mind racing along with her other thoughts.

Why did their chains suddenly bust off? She keeps weighing out different options, but nothing makes sense. Did Mystic have something to do with it? Or was it Bluemoon? The young hybrid did seem the least surprised out of all of them. If this was the case, how did he do it?

"We're here." Bluemoon said, causing Angel to jump and her flight to stagger a bit. She took a look at the small village and was a little shocked.

"A Queen lives here? What kingdom is this? Why is it so small?"

"Woah, slow down." Bluemoon said. " This is not a kingdom. Its a small village between the Sky and Sand kingdom for those who have nowhere to go, and a perfect place for us to rest. I happen to have a friend here, and she'd be more than willing to let us stay."

"But won't the Sky queen come looking for us?" Angelwing questioned. "We are right on her border."

Bluemoon shook his head. "The Sky queen doesn't associate with 'filthy peasants'. She won't come near here."

Angel opened her mouth to say something, but a voice interrupted her.

"Bluuuuuueeeeeee!!!!!" A dark, little dragonet yelled, running up to Bluemoon. He smiled and lifted her into his arms. She gave him a hug, and nuzzled her snout into her chest.

"Hey there Luna. How are you doing?" He said in a gentle voice. "How's your mother?"

"I'm good! I finally learned how to fly! And , Mom is good too!" The dragonet said, wagging her tail.

"That's great!" Bluemoon said. He turned to the group. "These are my friends. Wintertide, Dragonfruit, Asher Mystic and Angelwing."

His tone of voice changed when he said Angel's name. It was a tone that she didn't recognize.

"Hi guys! I'm Stellaluna. I'll take you to my mom's hut."

She then hopped out of Bluemoon's arms and lead the group through the small village. The dragons everywhere had things unique about them. Like Wintertide, there were dragons running around with phosphorescent scales, some that looked like Queen Diamond, some that looked like Queen Camille, and some that even matched Wintertide. There was even one that kinda reminded her of a mix match between Camille and Diamond.

The huts were all made of different materials. Moss, sticks, clay, mud and...

'Is that ice?' Angelwing thought as they approached a rather large hut, secluded in the back of the village. Stellaluna lead everyone into the hut, but Angel had to stop and marvel at the exterior of the hut. It was literally made of SNOW and ICE, in a place that was pretty tropical. The hut was even gave off a cool, steamy mist. Angel touched the cool wall, and got an odd sense of warmth and familiarity from it.

"Animus magic." Bluemoon's voice said, snapping Angel out of her trance. "It's an odd thing, it can even deify the laws of nature. It's no wonder dragons go insane."

"It's like a gift but a curse at the same time." She whispered.

"That necklace..." Bluemoon said, causing Angel too look down and she that she was holding it close to her chest. "I've never seen such a heavy and advanced spell, especially on a piece of jewellery."

Angel gave him a skeptical look. "And you know this, how?"

"Oh... Um... Uh..." He stammered. "Come inside and meet my friend."

He quickly rushed inside the hut, dragging her along with him.

The inside of the hut was beautiful, decorated with a beautiful, ice chandelier, and the ice windows as well. The hut was surprisingly warm, and there was a layer of warm white sand that acted as the floor. Inside stood a beautiful bluish-black dragon, littered with silver scales along her back and wings. She wore a bit of light blue jewellery on her neck and left horn. She gave a polite nod and a gentle smile as Angelwing entered.

"Hello there, miss Angelwing, I am Estellalucine. Welcome to my home, I apologize that my mate isn't here to meet you."

"Nice too meet you too." Angelwing said. "Stellaluna and Estellalucine? You guys have very similar names."

"Stellaluna is the name her parents gave her." Estella explained with a sigh. "Her parents were very abusive. So I took her in."

Stellaluna hopped over to Estellalucine and nuzzled herself under her wing. "She takes great care of me and treats me like her own. She's definitely my mother."

"Thank you, Luna." Estella smiled, she then looked at Angelwing. "You're probably tired from your long journey. There's a small room down the hall, to the left, three rooms down. You can stay there."

Angel would gave protested, if it weren't for the involuntary yawn that followed her saying that. "Thank you, for your kindness."

Angel dragged her talons down the hall to Estella's directions, and came to a small room, well lit with sunlight, and contained a large pelt blanket for her to sleep on. The fur was soft and fluffy and gave Angel a sudden sense of comfort as she curled up into her conformable sleeping position. The itself room gave her a sense of comfort and familiarity, like she had been here before.

Her eyes shot open. 'I've never left my parents island. How could I have been here before?'

That was the last thing that ran through her mind as her heavy eyes involuntary shut again and she fell into a much needed deep sleep.
