Once in a Blue Moon

A quick visit to the ER

Zack picked me up and rushed me out of the dark and gloomy woods. We dogged car after car after car.
"How you going back there Melody!!!" Zack yelled gasping for air.

"Yeah I'm fine, just slow down on the bumps please!"

"Okay, I will."
I could tell that Zack wanted nothing but to get me there quick and for me to get my arm fixed. We stopped suddenly, we had arrived at the Hospital. Zack walked in to e hospital and walked straight up to the front desk.
"Can I please get this girl in ASAP. I found her on the side of the road, she has a badly broken arm. I don't know how it happened but she needs help ASAP."

"Ok, thank you sir if you could please just take a seat I will get her in as soon as possible." The lady said in a sweet caring voice.
Zack started walking back over to me.
"Nice save." I said as I let out a little giggle.
"Why thank you, I was very proud of it."
We both laugh. An hour passed and still know on had come. Zack walked back up to the front desk, I grabbed his arm and pulled him back down to his seat.
"They will be here soon." I explained.
"Well they better be because other wise I'm gonna go talk to them about getting you in soon."
We sat there for another ten minutes before a doctor walked out the door and called my name.
"Melody!"
Zack and I stood up and walked over to the doctor.
"Follow me Miss, we will take you to the X-Ray room and we will get this arm if yours X-Rayed. But sir you will have it wait out here.
"Go sit down Zack. I will be fine." I whispered in his ear.
