Once in a Blue Moon

An akward lunch

I was walking through the hallways with Zack and Leigh. I felt weighed down by all of the eyes giving us the death stare as we walked down the hallways. Every single set of eyes in the room were staring at us. After an embarrassing walk to the grassed area. There was one seating area left and we quickly headed over to it. Zack and Leigh sat down on one side and sat down on the other. I reached over and placed my bag on the spare space beside me. I unzipped my bag and pulled out my lunch. I placed it on the table and re-zipped my bag back up. I sat up straight and unwrapped my lunch. I took a of my sandwich before looking up at Leigh and Zack. It was silent. I would have to start a conversation at some point.
"So......... What do you guys have for lunch?" I ask awkwardly.
They both looked at each other before bursting out in laughter.
"That is the question to use to break the silence?" Leigh says.
"I guess. That's all I could think of." I say
"Well........ I don't have anything. I ate yesterday I really don't need to eat till the weekend." Zack said.
Leigh nodded in agreement. Well I guess I was the only one eating. It sat there slowly eating my lunch as Zack and Leigh talked to me. We talked about our holidays, what is felt like once we have changed and our assignments that we had. I finished my lunch and got up to go and wash my hands. I went to walk over to the drink fountain before Zack grabbed by jacket. I swiftly turned around.
"Yes?"
"Where are you going?"
"I'm just going to the drink fountain."
"Ok. But come back!"
"Don't worry, I'm coming back."
After a went and got and drink and washed my hands I went back over to where we were sitting. Zack whispered something into Leigh's ear and Leigh opened his mouth wide.
"What were you guys talking about?"
"Ummm...........nothing." They both said before picking up heir bags.
*DING DING*
The bell rang and before I could grab ,y bag and look up, Zack and Leigh were up and off to there next class. What were they talking about?
