"Cap, these people are going nowhere. If Stark finds a way to blow this rock not till everyone's safe. Everyone up here versus everyone down there? There's no math there." I heard Nat speak as I arrived near Steve's position area.
"I'm not leaving this rock with one civilian on it." Steve said almost stubbornly.
"I didn't say we should leave. There's worse way to go. Where else am I gonna be a view like this?" Nat asked as I looked at her while she looked out at the view.
"Glad you like the view, Romanoff. It's about to get better." Nick Fury's voice was in my inner com making me look around the sight until a helicarrier rose up from under the platform.
"Nice, right? Pulled her mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty, but she'll do." Nick said as I took in the helicarrier. Haven't seen these in a while.
"Fury, you son of a bitch." Steve said making me smirk at him swearing.

"Whoa ho, you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Fury asked Steve making me snicker before answering the question.
"No, he kisses me though." I said making the two of them turn their heads to me in sync.
"This is S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Pietro asked, which I didn't seem him run in as he watched the pods being sent to us.
"This is what S.H.I.E.L.D.'s supposed to be." Steve answered making Pietro nod in impression.
"This is not so bad." Pietro said making me hide another snicker. My soulmates are awesome. I'm truly thankful.
"Let's load them up." Steve said before we ran to the civilians and led them towards the pods.

I had kept my eyes on the computer until I heard the warning alarm and saw that a bot was coming towards us.
"Incoming!" I shouted just before the bot smashed through the glass and into the room. The damage from the glass made the bot crawl on the ground.
Maria and I shot at it rapidly, distracting it up enough for Nick to stab it in the head with a scrap of metal.
