Apparently the pamphlet was wrong. I wouldn't only be helping guide demons. I would be guiding the prophets. I was chosen because it was such a high honor, and I was responsible and capable enough to be able to not be stupid around them. The king would be meeting them with me, so I would at least still be able to help protect him. The ones who had to guide the demons were the lower-angels. The ones who were still in training, or were having some sort of punishment. Which made sense to me. Of course, after all of this was explained to me, I apologized a billion times about my behavior towards the commander. I felt really sorry and now I was getting him some coffee as an extra apology. He said he probably would've reacted like I had, but I shouldn't have cursed at him. I had agreed with this automatically. I hated cursing, and felt a little embarrassed by my behavior. I sat down, giving him his frappuccino. He took a big sip happily. We sat in silence for a little while. I finally broke the silence.

"So, when do the prophets arrive? Later today?" I asked.

"Affirmative. There might be a demon on board, but we're not sure. The Royal Jesse will be on board though, and King Salhom will be taking them astray so you can show the prophets around and not be nervous with the Queen/King of shapeshifters following you around," He replied, putting his drink on the white marble table.

"Do I actually act nervous when other Royals come, or are you just saying that?" I said in a joking manner.

He smiled, "Sometimes you act nervous in front of the other Royals. But you're pretty good in front of King Salhom."

"'Pretty' good?" I chuckled, sipping on my mocha.

He kept the smile on his face. "You might want to change into something a little more casual. Maybe don't have your obviously 'just got shined' armor on. Remember, these are regular people too."

"Alright, then."

I continued to sip on my drink and so did he.

"What time should they be here?" I asked again, looking for a conversation starter.

"In about 30 minutes. I would go take a shower and change. Be ready, they're said to change lives."

I looked at him puzzled. "What?"

"Nothing. Just go get change and stuff," He looked as if he were hiding something.

"Yeah... okay."

I got out of the shower and put a towel on. I walked to my bedside and started to get changed after I dried off. Casual? Really? I thought to myself as I put on my classic white shirt and dark green hoodie over it. I put on some light jeans and rolled them up to my knees. I put my white socks on, then checked my phone to see what time it was. It was just about 14:36. My 'lunch' had only been the drink I had with the commander, and I was getting hungry. I went over my wings a few times with the now-damp towel, then hung it up and fluffed my wings a bit. I hid my halo, and went over to the window. The ship was arriving for me to go to Argathripe. There I would meet the prophets and the Royal of the shapeshifters. I had met Jesse before, of course, as I am one of the highest in the Royal Guard. My phone rang, and I answered it. It was the commander.

"Ello?" I asked. "Need something? I'm about to head to the ship."

"Eh, yes. Just before you leave to go to the ship, you may, just maybe, well," He kept on going.

I grabbed the bag I packed for these few days. I started out the door with him saying 'well' and 'maybe.'

"Well, you might wanna say goodbye to any friends you have here. Sometimes... these things take awhile,"

"What in the world does that mean? Why would Angel Season keep going on?"

"It's not... Nevermind. Just get on the boat. I'll see you there," He sounded guilty, but sad at the same time.

I was confused. I hung up. I started walking towards the air-docks. I tried to forget his tone of voice. Unfortunately it stayed in my mind. But the joke was on him. I didn't have any friends.

A/N: This chapter is really short, so I'm gonna post Chapter 10 too.
