His full name was Theodore Drey. Apparently he was Katrina's father's sister's son. Got that? Alrighty then. I had heard his name mentioned before. When Katrina had shown up inside my bedroom all covered in black spots. She was visibly better, but Theodore on the other hand? He was covered from neck to ankle in the same black spots I had seen on Katrina, except his spots looked a bit bigger and quite darker. Other than that he probably could've pulled off as her twin. His hair was just a bit darker than hers, with a small wave on the left side. He had a dark purple shirt on with a heart that was the same color orange as mine. He had even an even darker shade of purple pants, and dark brown kinda-fuzzy boots. Mom. I directed at Mom. She looked at me inquiringly. How do we have the same color of heart? Mom looked a bit annoyed at that question. That will take a lot of explaining to do, honey. Let's save that conversation for another time, okay? I just subtly nodded my head. Take a lot of explaining? Whatever, I won't keep on bothering her with it. I thought to myself.
"So why is Theodore coming with us?" I asked, trying to keep a polite tone.
"Well, we think that he is-" Katrina was suddenly cut off.
"Theo," Theodore had done it.
"I'm... sorry?" I asked, a bit confused.
Katrina sighed.
"Call me Theo. You don't need to be so polite around me," He smiled a warm, 'I'm-happy-to-be-here' smile.
I couldn't tell if it was fake or not, though.
"Oh. Alright. Katrina, what were you saying?" I nodded and smiled back at him.
Theo seemed like the kind of person I would want to be friends with. He was very kind, and usually polite. The only time I had seen him be kind of rude was when he cut off Katrina.
"Well," She paused as if to see if anyone else needed to speak," We think Theo is part of the prophecy. He's one of the only other Grinesolians I know that are left."
"He would be part of the two who are from a 'dead domain,' right?" John chimed in.
"Yes. Since he is my cousin, it just felt right, I suppose," Katrina answered him.
I pulled my phone out of my back pocket to check the time.
"Crap! When does the train leave Katrina?" I shouted.
"11:55pm, why? What time is it?" There was worry in her voice.
I saw Theo start to stand up, as well as Katrina.
"11:15! How long does it take to get there?!" I stood up and ran to get my shoes and jacket on.
I never got an answer. All I remember is saying quick goodbyes to Mom, Vici and Johnathon. All I said was goodbye. Not even a hug or kiss. I remember Mom looking sad. As if she knew something was going to happen while we were gone. Something bad.

The train station looked like your average train station, except I was just noticing how many animal-human-thingies had lived among us. Not like people were eating things off of the floor, which some still were, but more like, a lady had bunny ears and a tail instead of human ears. But I oddly felt fine. Like I didn't care if they had animal ears and tail and claws and wings. Because to me, they were the same as I was. It felt different, but it also felt normal. Theo sipped on some pop he had bought from one of the food places in the station.
"What kind of drink did 'cha get?" I tried to make some small talk, maybe get to know him better.
He took another sip then set it on his knee. "Root beer."
"Cool."
"Mm-hm" He took another drink.
Katrina was messing with her phone. She seemed stressed.
"So, we're going to get an angel? In Argathripe?" I said, trying to let her loosen up a bit.
She turned off her phone and put it in her bag. "Yes and yes."
She looked like she wanted to say more, so I stayed attentive. We all sat there for a bit, Theo slurping on his Root Beer, Katrina staring at her phone as if something amazing was happening on it, and me, staring at a large clock on one of the walls, waiting for our train to come so I could take a nap.
"When is our train going to come again?" I asked no one in particular.
"11:55" Katrina said.
"What time is it now?"
"11:49. Be patient."
I squirmed. I hoped the train had comfy seats. Then I remembered something. I looked around the room. There was a wolf-man in a suit that looked pretty tired. I focused on him. Man, I hope that train arrives soon... I'm beat. I smiled. I looked around for anyone else. But just then I heard screeching of wheels on tracks. The sound was so familiar that I jumped up, suddenly full of energy. My smile was fully gone, my face angry with a hint of fear and sadness. All I could think about all of the sudden was my dad. GET DOWN!! It played in my mind as if someone had put headphones on me at full volume. GET DOWN!! GET DOWN!! GET DOWN!! I realized my hands were warm. There was also a warmth on my right shoulder, but not the same kind. I put the small flames in my hands out. I didn't need to turn to see who was touching my shoulder because Katrina was in front of me and keeping an eye on the both of us. I mumbled a quiet 'thanks.' I heard a 'you're welcome' from my right side. The hand dropped from my shoulder and we walked towards the open door of the train. The train's seats weren't all that bad.
