Poem #8: Yearn

Yearn

I miss your annoying remarks

The way you make me go mad and see red

Yet make me feel giddy and feel the sparks

Always making me smile before going to bed

I'm longing for your 'How are you?' messages

It's been only two days but it felt like ages

Won't lie this time, I'm not even fine

I long you more than an aged wine

I'm craving for moments when we talked endlessly

Throwing random topics just to keep going

Not even time zones could hinder our dally

This taste of silliness is worth remembering

Maybe you're stuck in that chair in front of your computer

Or busy with your afternoon jog or taking a nap

Maybe playing badminton or lost with your papers

Whatever it is, this feeling won't just stop

Is this intentional?

'Cause yes, it's working  and all

Hurry and stop this nonsense

Stop making me yearn for your presence
