Seasons of LongingThe sunshine was fresh yet it was still chilly, you said
Mask still on, but has taken off a layer of your outfit
We get to see more of sunlight now
Still in different time but with the same tint of shadowThe sky was blue and void of clouds
The heat was too much we both didn't wanna go out
We exchange photos of our cold drinks and fruit bowls
Still over online chats and video callsIt was when the leaves there were red and started to fall
That getting out of bed had become a problem for us
Then there's this pouring rain here that didn't help at all
A day will come and it'll be us over the same mattressYou showed me prints on your snow-covered lawn
I wish I was there so you didn't have to do it alone
It's that season again, we missed each other even more
It's that season again when we hope for the long nights to be over
