Atsumu wakes up the next day with a headache. He looks around him and sees himself surrounded by papers. He was about to pull on the blanket on his shoulder but feels nothing. He looks around, thinking that maybe it fell off his shoulder while sleeping, but there was no blanket to be found.

Atsumu couldn't tell if he should laugh or if he should pity himself when he realizes what happened, "a fever dream," he whispers and wipes a tear that escaped his eyes.

"Great, good morning to you, Atsumu," he whispers to himself as he walks to the kitchen to cook himself breakfast. He was waiting for Sakusa to come out of their room like he usually does, but minutes have passed, and he's done cooking, but Sakusa doesn't come out.

Atsumu braves himself to walk into their room to knock and call him for breakfast, but he's greeted with disappointment when he sees that the bed is empty and there were no signs of Sakusa sleeping in their room that night. He walks back to the kitchen and stares at what he prepared.

"It's sad if I eat you alone," Atsumu says and keeps them in Tupperware for him to eat later tonight. He then prepares himself for work and takes the bento he had prepared for Kiyoomi and him before driving to their company building.

Atsumu goes straight into his office and prepares everything he needs for the presentation. He could feel his heart racing in anxiousness as he takes out the papers and checks his laptop to make sure that everything was perfect.

He was in the middle of going through the parts he dozed off to when he hears a knock coming from his door. He turns around and groans before opening it and seeing Meian, "what's up?"

"The clients moved the presentation to nine o'clock," Meain says, making Atsumu's eyes grow wide.

"That's thirty minutes from now!" Atsumu exclaims, his breathing becoming heavier with each passing second.

"Atsumu, calm down. You can do this. You've made emergency presentations before and got the deals. I'm sure you can do that now, too," Meian encourages as he grabs his shoulders and gives them an encouraging squeeze to calm him down.

"But this is a huge one, and I dozed off while going through it yesterday," Atsumu says and anxiously taps his foot on the floor.

"Didn't Sakusa help you in this one like he always does?" Meian asks, Atsumu freezes, and his mouth parts, "no, he was busy,"

That was the only answer Atsumu could give at the moment.

Meian nods and comfortingly pats Atsumu's back, "I'll back you up if something happens during the presentation,"

"You don't have to do that," Atsumu says and walks to his desk to take some papers. Hearing Kiyoomi's name was enough for his anxiety to disappear and be replaced by utter disappointment as he remembers the events from earlier that morning.

He prepares everything he needs and goes to one of the conference rooms to set them up and rehearses. He was rubbing his hands together as he practices. He practiced and waited until Meian informs them that their investors had already arrived.

Atsumu takes a deep breath to calm himself, you can do this, Atsumu, and just as he was done encouraging himself, the door opens, and he greets them with a smile.

"Good morning, investors,"

The presentation had ended, and Atsumu feels like his soul was sucked out of him. He falls into his swivel chair and sighs in relief. He was about to work on something different when a knock interrupts him, and his boss' secretary peeks in.
