Chapter 28

After digs leaves Kate takes me aside
"I love that you invite your friends over but maybe tell us in advance because yes we love them but please don't just show up with them" she says and I nod
"Sorry she was lonely and I offered so we watched a movie" I say
"It's fine just don't do it again" she says and I nod But as I'm about to say something my phone buzzes
Erin:hey I need help with the homework
Me:yeah sure what do you need?
Erin:the first question on the second page
Me:I didn't bring my homework home can you send me the question?
Erin:yeah

I do nothing most of the rest of the day but clean my room and do laundry I mean gotta do it at some point
"Apollo Im trying to fold these" I say as Apollo lies down in the pile of my clothes
"You're Talking out loud to your cat again"Jackson says and I stick my tongue out at him unfortunately right at Apollo sneezes right in my face
"Ew" I say and he is just in stitches
"You Deserved that" he says laughing
"What did I ever do to you?" I ask and he shrugs
"You've spent more time with Erin this week than I have" he says and I smirk
"So you're jealous" I say and he shakes his head
"I'm not jealous" he says but I can tell that's not true
"You totally are" I say and he blushes with embarrassment
"No I'm not" he says
"Ask her on a date for tomorrow Im sure she'll like that" I say and he smiles
"That's not a bad idea coming from you"he says then walks off to continue whatever he was doing

Paige slams me against the lockers which is new then I'm absolutely not expecting Cassie and Jazz to push her away from me
"That's my teammate you just shoved" cassie says and Paige looks past her at me
"Why don't you tell her how you let that girl climb in your window" Paige says and I shake my head
"No because that's nobodies business especially when nothing happened and if your boy toy stayed around long enough he might've saw me kick her out" I say and they step out of the way seeing that this is not her fight and that I don't need defending
"People in this town don't like gays or haven't you heard what happened to Emily and simone when they came out" she says and I don't know what happened but by her reaction it must have been bad
"This time we won't let you do that not again,that broke Emily we're not going to let you hurt anyone like that anymore" Taylor says and i have no idea what's going on

I don't know why but I have this weird feeling about something like I have to rush back to the house so I do
"Holy-" I start as I walk into the house and there's stuff everywhere
"Bella? Kate? Martin?" I question but there's so reply so I text Kate
Me:where are you?
Kate:I was late getting out of work what's up?
Me:stuff is everywhere
Kate:Bella's home
Me:where is she?
Kate:don't know
Me:I'll find her
First I go to her room and find her sleeping
"Hey Bella you ok?" I ask and she looks up at me groggily
"Uh yeah I had an episode so I'm sleeping it off" she says and I nod
"Oh sorry for disturbing you" I say then take out my phone to text Kate
Me:she had an episode but she's ok
Kate:I'm on my way home now anyway

Kate gets home and I help her clean up the mess even though Bella should be helping instead
"I'm going to call her therapist and see what I should do" Kate says and I nod
"I'll be in my room playing ps4" I say before going upstairs to play the last of us
"Hey Apollo" I say as he slinks his way into my lap
"What do you think?" I ask as he curls up in the space in my lap because I'm sitting cross legged

Jackson drives us to school and I find jo standing by my locker
"Hey I've got something for you" jo says then takes out a water bottle
"What is it?" I ask
"Well I didn't go with you at the party so I thought we could do a little partying now" she says and I laugh
"But the bells about to ring" I say and she shrugs
"We can do it in first period you know,just sit at the back of the class and have some fun" she says and I smile
"I don't know jo being drunk in class isn't that fun" I say and she shrugs
"Ok suit yourself" she says before walking into class
"It's your funeral though" I say

I kinda feel a bit bad for her since she has gym next and she's looking a little buzzed
"Cheater,when have I ever cheated" I say quietly after reading a note that was on my desk
"Hey" Erin says sitting down beside me
"Hey" I say shoving the note in my pocket
"Everything ok?" She asks and I nod then take a glance at Willow Because I have a feeling she left that note
"Yeah everything's fine" I say returning the smile to my face when I look back at her
"You sure?" She asks and I nod
"Yeah,you ready to work?" I ask and she nods
"More equations,how could I not" she says half serious but half sarcastically

I have to use the bathroom so I go to the one down the hall hoping not to run into anyone because I just find it awkward when there's someone else in the bathroom but no luck
"Hey" jazz says washing her hands as I come in and I smile
"Hey" I say
"Can I ask you something?" She asks and I frown but nod
"Yeah sure" I say
"Should I be worried about Lilly,she's my best friend and she's been distant but she didn't confide in me about it she talked to you" she says and I shrug
"I don't know I think you just need to be there you know like a shoulder to lean on and tell her you're proud of her type thing" I say and she nods
"Thanks ace" she says and I smile
"Yeah no problem" I say before going into a stall

So I'm %100 into summer now so with the exception of work I'm free to write everyday now so expect a bunch of chapters coming up in the next couple days,until next time stay healthy peace guys -Kat :)
