Benny"Stop letting go.. hey- you're going to fall!" I groaned, slowing down my pace once noticing she let go again.
"Ugh, but I'm so tired. I can't even keep my eyes open!" Amora frowned, closing her eyes tiredly.
I shook my head as I continued to walk down the sidewalk, tightly holding onto her seeing she was struggling to not only walk but hold onto me.
"Oh my god.." she softly trailed off.
"What?" I questioned, furrowing my eyebrows as I quickly looked over towards her.
"What the fuck is that?" She laughed, pointing out into the distance.
My eyebrows knitted together in confusion once looking over and seeing nothing. "Uh..nothing?"
"Oh, but it's so annoying" she groaned, closing her eyes as she shook her head.
"My god..you are so high right now. Or drunk I have no idea" I sighed, shaking my head at her.
"What's that?" She questioned, titling her head curiously.
"Uh..when you smoke? Like you just did. Not only that but you drank half a bottle of alcohol, I swear you're going to die or something" I explained and shook my head with a sigh.
"Die! Why would you say that?" She exclaimed, immediately shooting her eyes open.
"Oh.. no Amora I was just-
"Oh my god. I can't die. I haven't even met Frankie Avalon yet!" She shrieked, throwing a hand into her hair in panic.
"Hey.. I was just joking ok? Calm down" I assured, lightly rubbing her back.
"Well geez that wasn't very funny" her lips curled into a frown and she looked down towards the ground.
I sighed, shaking my head as I continued to rub her back. "Sorry"
"You.. you smell nice" she slowly stated, taking in a small breathe.
I cracked a small smile, shaking my head as I let out a light laugh. "Thanks.. so do you"
"Thank you" she softly replied, cracking a smile whilst she simply shrugged.
I slowly nodded, looking back in front of me and leaving a small silence to grow between us.
"Benny?" She suddenly chirped.
"Yeah?" I replied, glancing briefly at her."Why are you so.. mean?" She questioned, titling her head with a frown.
I looked back over, frowning as I shrugged my shoulders up and down. I had no true valuable reason to give her other than I'm just being a terrible person.
"I don't know.. I'm sorry" I slowly answered, looking down towards the ground with a sigh.
"It's ok" she softly replied.
Moments later she huffed impatiently, and with her eyes closed she rested her temple against my shoulder. Though it was hard to hold back a smile I managed and kept my gaze towards the ground.
