Gwyn POV

I've never been one to believe in karma but today I'm making an exception. Satis deserves to take responsibility for what she did she needs to feel the pain we're feeling. Everything is ruined. We're torn apart and we'll probably never see each other again.

"Gwyn are you up?" At first, I didn't recognize the voice but once I felt their embrace around me I automatically knew it was Tomi. Crying immediately I held onto him tightly too afraid of him leaving me.

"Hey, it's okay. We're okay."  I knew it wasn't true but I believed him for now.

This isn't fair. None of us deserve this. We were safe until we found the lake, until Tomi got taken, until I almost got taken, until Satis-

"Gwyn calm down, I can feel you shaking." he says cupping my face "Whatever you're thinking right now you need to get out of your head. We need to find a way out of here and find the others. We need to be careful because whatever your power may end up being could come out when you have too many emotions."

"How can I possibly calm down when my friends are who knows where. Satis one of the few people I trusted turns her back on us and sides with people who are going to use us for their own profit." How can he be calm right now?? how could anyone be calm right now? My life is ruined I could die from the test they may run on me. Tomi is telling me to be calm but I can't be I just can't.

"Gwyn. You're floating." I look down and realize he's right. I'm fucking floating. why the hell would I get some cheesy shit like floating.

"Glowing eyes too. Huh, you kind of look like Superman." Superman. Of all superheroes, he compares me to superman.

"What else would you want him to compare you to Gwyn?" Of course, Satis comes around right as I discover my powers. Finally, on the ground, I make sure there's some distance between myself and Satis.

"What the hell do you want Satis? Here to make our lives miserable?" Didn't realize Tomi was as upset as I was about this whole thing. But I guess he just hides his emotions better and they build-

Now it makes sense.

"Now, now no need to get so feisty Tomi. I just wanted to stop in and check on my friends. but, Gwyn you have piqued my interest. What exactly makes sense? Don't try to hide it I could easily read your mind to find out. But, I'm going to give you a chance to come clean. I'm a bit nicer than my boss. He wanted to go get everyone's families and have a slight negotiation. Besides Perc's family that is. They have already struck a deal."

"How about you go to hell you backstabbing bitch!" Saying that felt good but it didn't help our situation. She was never on our side in the first place. For as long as I've known her she has always looked out for herself and doing what would only benefit her. I only stuck around because Lycus thought she would change but I guess they were wrong.

"I've done everything in my power to protect you guys but I guess you can't see that. Your going to wish you would've taken my offer. You all are in for a treat" And with that she was gone and me and Tomi with left alone with our thoughts and the pits developing me in th
