Chapter 16

Tom

I look at the ring on my finger as I stand in front of the mirror. Jenna is with me my arranging my tuxedo. I smile as I see what's encrypted.

"Alright Tom, your tuxedo doesn't have wrinkles and your hair is done with gel. Cedric is gonna fall in love with you more." she smiles and pets my shoulder. Eliza knocks as she lets herself in. When she sees me she smiles.

"Tom, you look astonishing." I smile back. I touch the chips that's on the counter but get slapped by Jenna.

"I really hope you didn't just grab on to some chips. You're getting married! You're not gonna eat chips now! You're gonna ruin your suit. It can wait after the wedding." she looks around. "Also, which idiot put these here." she grabs the bowl of chips and candy and brings them away. "No eating before thee wedding." she walks away and Eliza laughs.

"My sister was always a drama queen." I look at her shocked. Jenna's her sister?

"Jenna's your sister?"

"Half sister." I nod. Jenna comes in smiling. Alright, we're ready. Eliza, you better go to Cedric before he panicks. She smiles and leaves, leaving me with Jenna.

"Alright. Put you're shoes on, so that we can leave too."

I prepare myself as I enter the church. I see Cedric crying and smiling at the same time. I can't believe this is actually happening. I'm marrying the guy of my dreams. I walk up the corridor with my hand tangled in Jenna's. We arrive and I stand in front of him. He's eyes sparkling. I looked at the seats full of people. The whole hospital came. Even nurses and doctors who thought I was dead were there. I turn to Cedric as he smiles uncontrollably.

"We are here to bring these 2 wonderful men together on this special day." the priest eyes me. "Even though I thought one of the died." he laughes nervously. "Cedric Gherkin, do you take Thomas Stanley Holland as your lawful husband in bad and good days?" 

"I do."

"Thomas Stanley Holland, do you take Cedric Gherkin as your lawful husband in good and bad?"

"I d-"

I wake up as I scan my surroundings. I'm in a hospital room. Again? I look around as I realize someone's sleeping on my bed with they're face in the sheets. I move so I can sit straight. The person feels im moving and looks up. Wait a second, Jake?

"Tom? Tom!" Jake smiles through tears as he hugs me so tight that I can barely breathe. He loosens the hug.

"What happened?"

"When I said I couldn't make it to you for pancakes, you decided to ride at my place, but then falling into a river." Ok, i don't remember that. "Wait, let me bring doctor to show you are alive." I nod.

"....yeah, so he had hallucinations while in a coma, with the result that his brain reversed the events of himself falling in the river, with you. This happens in rare occasions when the brain is intact and to stay away from trauma. But we're not completely sure if the hallusinations didn't caused him trauma as he was shocked to see that you're alive." Doctor Wallson turns his head to me. "I can recommend you a good therapist if you want. Here's her pgone number if you need it." He smiles and leaves.

Jake has still a shocked expression and see tears making their way over to his cheeks. His eyes are sad. He looks like he had been crying all day long. "You really imagined me dying?" I nod.

"Jake, I didn't just imagines it. I actually lived it. I cheated on you." 

"Tom, that were the hallucinations. You didn't kissed someone else or cheated with me. That was in your head."

"But it felt so real!" he pets my hair. 

"Try to relax. Everything will be fine. I'm happy that you're alive." he kisses meon the lips, on my cheeks, on my neck and leaves, leaving me with a warm feeling. I know he said that it was all in my  head, but everything felt so real. I decide to stare out the window as the rain rolls off the window.
