Drarry One Shot
//This isn't even a little bit realistic but shut up it's wattpad//
Harry couldn't have been more scared. This was his first time on a plane. Maybe he could pretend to get a heart attack and they wouldn't take off? But when the airplane started moving, panic clouded his mind and his hands began shivering. Luckily, there was no one on the seats beside him. God, could you imagine? The boy who lived, not scared of Lord Voldemort, scared of a bloody aeroplane.
Finally, he couldn't take it. His breath got caught in his throat and he couldn't exhale anymore. He struggled to reach for the button to call a flight attendant, but somehow managed to press it.
"Yes?" Harry looked up at the voice he heard minutes later.
No way.
No fookin way.
"Draco?" Harry spoke, and realized that he was able to breathe normally again.
"Woah. Potter. Didn't expect to see you here." Draco shrugged, and to Harry's surprise, smiled at the green eyed boy. "What do you need?" He asked politely.
"Uh-" Harry turned a little red. "I was having a panic attack, but it's oh- shit." Harry cursed when the plane picked up speed and he bit on his bottom lip to keep from whimpering.
Draco frowned at the boy. "Hey, uhm, you good?"
Obviously not. Harry wanted to say.
But his throat was closing in and no words could escape its confines.
"Oh my god. Okay. Okay. Here-" Draco sat down on the empty seat beside Harry and took Harry's hands in his own. He softly rubbed circles on the back of Harry's palm, and weirdly, that comforted the lad. "It's okay, you won't feel anything. You're safe."
Harry clutched Draco's hands harder as the wheels finally took off the ground and let out a small gasp. Hearing that, Draco pulled up the seat arm between them and pulled Harry closer to him, whose back leaned on Draco's chest, their seat belts intact.
"Hey, look at that. Look at the tiny specks of light. They look so small, don't they?" Draco distracted Harry, wrapping his arms around him. Harry wasn't shaking anymore. In fact, he could feel himself fall into Draco's gravity.
When the flight was finally stable, Draco attempted to move, but noticed that Harry had fallen asleep in his arms. He smiled fondly at the boy. He looked so peaceful now. Draco knew Blaise could cover his shift and he didn't want wake him up, so he stayed still.
But maybe that wasn't the only reason he didn't leave.
