chapter 1

Tris POV

I wake up and remember today is the first day of school

I'm in highschool . I'm 16

The only reason I don't want to go is because of the bad boy and prankster four.

I met him when I first came to highschool

I bumped into him and he said

"Watch were your going dumbass"

That's when I hated him

I get ready and but highwaisted shorts and a crop top.

I put my hair loosley down .

I go down stairs and see my mom.

"Hi honey" she says

"Hi mom I think I'm just going to get an apple and leave ." I say

She nods and when I leave I get into my white shiny car .

I get to school at 7:45 .just then the bell rings

I hurry to get my schedule

Once I get it I get to my first class . honors math .

I get there and see some of my friends .

Christina ,will,Lynn,Shauna,and Marlene

I sit down next to Christina and she says

"Hey Tris "

She hugs me and I hug her back "hi I haven't seen you in so long"

She just laughs

I look around to find four sitting with his 2 minions ,Zeke and Uriah , ugh they are so annoying .

Wait what is he doing in honors math I thought he's not smart enough .

Oh well

Right then the teacher ms.loesh walks in

"Alright we are going to assign seats "

"Okay so first row.."

She keeps talking until she gets to the last row

"Four, Tris " and she says some other people

Ugh no why do I have to sit next to him

He's annoying

We go to our seats and I try not to look at four .

"Tris!" He wisphers

I ignore him

"Tris"

"What!" I say

"Do you have a pencil I can borrow "

"Ugh hold on" I say

I find a pencil and give it to him

After class I leave with my friends

I start going to my locker when I bump into someone .

"I'm so sorry" I say

I look and see four

"You know what never mind I'm not sorry" I say

He just laughs

Um okay ? Isn't he gonna say something back

I just shake the feeling off and go to my locker

Once I open it water sprays all over me

Ugh I know who did this

I start trying to find four,Uriah ,and Zeke

But I find Christina "hey what happened to you " she says

"Four that's what happened " I say

We start trying to find him

Once we do he sees me and start laughing His head off

"What the hell !" I scream

"I'm sorry I don't know why your talking about " he says

"Don't play dumb " I say

He just laughs and I just go to the locker room because I have extra clothes

"I hate four" I yell

"Everybody hates him" Christina says

I get my clothes on and just leave with them to my next class

After school

I go to the park after school because I joined soccer team not to long ago

Not to brag or anything but coach refers me to one of his best players

And I have game today

"Alright team ! Listen up things are gonna change we have a new team member so I'm gonna take any of you guys out .even if your one of the best players. Four here is gonna battle anyone of you guys in soccer to get that spot. It gonna be tomorrow that he gets to battle " coach says

I look at four hes smirking at me

"But for today he will play with us "

Ugh he is probably gonna battle me

We start playing and I make 4 goals at the end of the game we won .
