I run after TOBIAS

I find him in a little tree house in the forest

There is a bush around it so no one sees it

I go in and I see it sitting int he floor with his face in his hands

Today I'm going to the doctor because I noticed I have been getting really tired ...my

Mom knows I'm going so yeah

When I get there the doctor asks

"So what is the reason you came today "

"I have beginning to get really fatigued easily when I usually am running fast I slow down easily and I have always ran fast even at soccer practice I get tired easily like 10 minutes and tired "

"Well we are going to run test to see "

They take some blood and a cat scan

Two weeks later

I'm at the hospital and the doctor got my results

"Okay so I have your result right here
Um let's see " he says opening it

"Well I'm sorry miss prior but you have thyroid cancer"

Tears start to well up in my eyes

"The x rays showed you have fluids in both of you lungs you will need surgery and then we'll see what we can do but you will most likely need nasal cannula "

"We need to do the surgery now and give you the tubes after "

They gave me the tubes

They said I need to quit soccer

So I call toby

"Hey" I say

"Hey tris how did the doctors go "

"Umm about that can you come over I need to tell you something "

"In the hospital " he sounds really worried

"Yeah room b64"

"I'll be right there "

He hangs up and he gets here

When he sees me with the tubes in my nose and my short hair because it now short

"What happened " he says

I start crying

"I have thyroid cancer they just did surgery on me " I say

"Tris "

"I'm scared toby "I say

"It okay "

"What if i die ... I don't want go and leave the people I love "

"Tris don't think about that .l.does your mom know "

I shake my head

"Can you tell her for me "

He nods

And put one finger up for one second and he leaves

I end up crying again

Being scared

I don't want to go but I need to be positive stay strong

I need to fight and win the battle against cancer
