3- I Like This Kid Already.

I've been living with Kevin and Danielle for a week, and let's just say that things are better than expected.

I expected them to be busy 24/7 and me having to babysit Alena, but turns out they aren't.

They always make time for Alena and I, and it's awesome.

I, on the other hand, have been doing a lot too.

Every other morning, I get up early to make breakfast.

I wake up Alena and take her for a walk in her stroller around the neighborhood, and feed her a bottle every morning.

It saves mom and dad from having to do it themselves.

One morning, I almost scared the life out of them while I fell asleep rocking a then fussy Alena on my shoulder in her nursery.

We were both fast asleep.

Being a big sister has it challenges, but it's worth it to see a cute, little baby waiting on you every morning.

This particular morning, we were going to have lunch with my uncles, and they were going to meet me.

I'd met them all over FaceTime, and Joe loved me.

We were heading to a cafe, and it was pretty nice out.

Not nice enough to wear a t-shirt and jeans though.

I chose a Nick Jonas T-shirt (basically the only clothes I own), some sweatpants with a thin pair of leggings on underneath, a jean jacket Mom and Dad got me as a gift that says 'Ash', and my lilac colored Vans.

I walked downstairs, where mom and dad sat.

"Do you own anything besides merchandise with my brothers and I's face on them?", Dad joked.

"Of course I do! Or did.", I replied.

"Oh good lord.", he sighed.

"We're leaving Alena with the babysitter, so let's go.", mom said.

We got in the car and I sat in the back on my brand new iPhone 6s Plus.

We eventually got to the cafe, which somewhat looked like a diner.

"Those are your uncle's cars.", Dad pointed to 3 cars parked right next to each other, making my heart sink into my stomach.

"Dad, what if they don't like me?", I ask.

"They're going to love you, Ley.", Dad assured me, smiling.

We walked inside and I saw the 3 other Jonas Brothers smiling at us.

"Hey Kev!", they all greeted.

"Hey guys. This is Danielle and I's adopted daughter, Ashley.", Dad smiled, signaling to me.

All of a sudden, Frankie stood up and gave me a hug.

"Kevin, she's so small!", Frankie said.

"She's only 11, dude. What do you expect?", Joe replied.

"Alright Frankie, let her go. I wanna hug her now.", Nick spoke up.

He stood up and hugged me.

"She's a fan?", Nick mouthed to Dad, smiling.

He nodded.

"I like this kid already.", Nick said, holding me close to him.

"I like your shirt, Ashley.", he smiled.

I flushed a deep red.

"Thank you.", I replied.

"Aw, she's blushing!", Joe smiled.

"Joe, leave her alone.", Nick warned.

"Fine!", Joe replied, putting his hands up in surrender.

We all decided to take a picture for Joe's Instagram, also letting the public know about me.

I was now all over social media, and when I got home I was on every news channel imaginable.

TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, etc.

TMZ: Eldest Jonas Brother, Kevin Jonas, 27, adopts 11 year old girl, Ashley Eliene.

How the hell does press know my name?

People: Kevin Jonas and wife, Danielle adopt 11 year old daughter, Ashley, just almost 1 year after having first daughter, Alena.

I already had people emailing and reaching out to Mom and Dad to interview me.

If this is what being the center of attention is like, I don't like it.
