Noah grumbled to himself as he marched down the corridors, the castle was like a labyrinth and he'd spent the entirety of his first day lost. Thankfully, or maybe not, he turned a final corner and was faced with the open double doors of a throne room. For a second, he hovered there, just out of sight. He didn't have the desire to see or speak to anybody, he never had the desire to. Some of his favourite things in life were empty corridors, empty streets. Places where he could be alone, where his limbs could move without fear of touching somebody.

The choice of whether to enter was stolen from him.

"Noah," Aro's voice again, the voice that sounded ready to burst into song and Noah was suddenly once again wishing he'd jumped out of the window he'd found three floors up. It hadn't been a particularly large window but with careful consideration, he was sure he could squeeze through it. "Enter," Aro tried again and for a second, Noah considered pretending not to be there but they were vampires, could they hear him? At least, they seemed to sense his rattling heart.

Sighing to himself, he dropped his expression into the picture of boredom and rounded as though he hadn't just been lingering outside the doors. All three of the Kings were there, that was the name he'd learnt they called themselves. Kings, he couldn't help but find it rather humorous. Aro stood beside a long table that Noah hadn't noticed before and his brothers sat at chairs on either side of it. Collectively they sifted through letters.

"We were wondering when you'd be joining us," Aro smiled but thankfully made no motion to stand and touch him. Noah wasn't sure what he would do if he did, his mind was still far too scrambled from the endorphins and the exhaustion from the previous day. Too much had happened, he had learnt too much and the thought that he could touch people had him running on a high even if the thought of it repulsed him. It was thrilling to have the option of touching somebody, even if he didn't want to.

"Yes, well, I didn't particularly want to," he kept his face straight and the blond man flashed his gorgeous gaze to him as though outraged he'd say such a thing. Aro, on the other hand, cackled as though it was the greatest thing he'd ever heard. The brunet king either hadn't heard or didn't care and Noah could sympathise. They could kill him easily, he knew that but with Aro addicted to his touch and them seeming to need him for whatever absurd reason, he felt the need to try his luck. Especially considering he had been kidnapped and forced to kill a woman.

"Take a seat, Noah. These are my brothers. Caius and Marcus," he gestured and Marcus' head snapped up at the sound of his name, glancing around him in confusion. When he noticed Noah's gaze, he smiled the barest slither of a smile, lips twitching. Noah instantly decided that he was his favourite and occupied the seat beside him, ignoring as best he could, the way that Caius stared at him. His eyes were no longer black as they had been the previous day, instead a sizzling red that Noah chose not to dwell on. It wasn't a good time or place to be catching feelings for a devil king. "How have you been finding your stay with us?"
