Esme sighed to herself as she got to the hospital . She knew that she needed to see Graham. Esme knew that she had been avoiding seeing him. She knew it was hard and she hated it. 

Esme walked into the room and smiled as she saw him "are you family" a nurse asked as esme looked to her and nodded

"I'm his daughter. Is he going to be okay I mean he has been in a coma for weeks" esme said as the nurse smiled

"the doctor is looking at waking him up. You don't need to worry. He is showing good signs and no permanent damage has been done but we can't tell for sure until he wakes up" the nurse said as esme nodded

"do you mind if I sit" esme asked

"you can stay as long as you need" she said as esme walked over to where Graham's was as she sat next to him. She placed a hand on top of his and smiled

"I'm sorry I haven't been here. I am it was hard especially when pierce took me and I was scared. I guess I just wasn't prepared to see you like this but I am here now and you are going to be okay I know you are" esme said.

She knew that she was trying to be strong

Esme got back to the village. She saw cain and smiled slightly "are you okay. You look like you have seen a ghost" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"I went to see my dad and I don't know I guess it scared me I mean I wasn't ready to see him like that but they're going to try wake him up. I know that you don't like him but he is my dad" esme said as cain smiled

"I don't think he will like me when he finds out what I have been doing with his daughter" cain said as she looked to him and chuckled

"your right there let's not tell him" she said as he looked to her and smiled. He placed a hand on her cheek and smiled as they held a look

"I know it's hard but it will be okay I am here" he said as esme looked to him and smiled as she leant in and kissed him.

He grabbed her waist as he pulled her close as she kissed him back. Esme knew that it was all falling apart but she knew that with cain it was different.

She knew that he was cain dingle and how he was bad news but he made her feel safe even though she had no idea just what was going on with them. He made her feel happy

Esme got back to home farm and smiled as she saw grace

"are you okay" grace asked as esme looked to her and sighed

"I really don't know. It's a mess" esme said as grace looked to her little sister and smiled as she pulled her into a hug and smiled

"I know it's hard but it will be okay I am here for you and it will all be okay" grace said as esme looked to her and smiled but grace really keep that secret? Especially when everything was about to blow up
