Watching Olivia across the hallway was the thing that Liam was doing this whole break in school. Now that he knew she was a werewolf, he saw it in her every movement. She closed her locker too strong for a human. The way she frowned slightly when the bell rang reveals her supernatural hearing.
"If you won't stop staring at her, you will reveal yourself and then we can give up on our plan." Mason's voice brought him back to reality, he’d been thinking what would have happened if he noticed it sooner.
"I'm not staring at her," he said, picking books out of his locker.
"Yes, you are." Corey came to them and gave Mason a short kiss on the lips. Liam frowned at him and closed the locker.
"I expected some support from you, but whatever. I am going to be late, so I better hurry. Do you have enough beeping stick things?" he asked looking at both of them.
"You mean ultrasonic emitters." Corey looked at Mason, clearly confused. When Mason noticed that, he added quickly: "Yes, we do."
Liam laughed and patted his shoulder.
"Then you both know what to do." He turned and walked away toward his class.
When he got there he looked around. Olivia was already there, sitting at one of twenty chairs and listened intently to something her blonde friend was telling her.
He picked the desk right behind her at sat down. He put his books on the desk and rested his chin on his hand.
Suddenly, girls in front of him fell silent. He couldn't help himself. Using his werewolf hearing he listened to them.
"Via, do you know the cutie behind us?" asked blonde. Liam's mouth widened into a slight smile.
Olivia inconspicuously looked around, so he quickly acted like he was interested into his book.
"Yeah," said Olivia when she turned back. "We have lacrosse training together." He could hear the blonde's heartbeat beating little faster.
"Great! Introduce me."
"What? Jess, I never talked to him. I don't even know his name."
Jess seems like she was about to say something, but in that moment teacher came to the classroom.
"Attention everyone!" A fat woman yelled, picking up chalk and starting to write something on the board. The whole class opened their books and after few seconds all Liam could hear was chalk sliding on the blackboard and pens writing on the paper.
But that changed very quickly. All of sudden, an annoying beeping found a way to his ears. Olivia covered her ears with her hands and ran out of class.
Liam quickly got up and ran after her, leaving the angry teacher, his backpack with his books and confused classmates behind him.
He didn't even had to follow her, since he knew where she could end up. So he was just walking toward there with his hands on his ears.
He heard as somebody opened the door, probably Olivia. Then he peeked around the corner, but he saw her back only. So he started running until he opened the door himself and he saw Olivia looking at Scott, Stiles and Lydia, confused and scared.
When she heard the door open behind her, she looked around quickly. Liam smiled at her, weak.
"You heard it too?" she asked and looked back at the trio in front of her.
"Who are you and what do you want?"
"We don't want to hurt you," said Scott calmly.
"Unless you hurt us," added Stiles. Scott looked at him, warning him that he was not supposed to scare her.
