A tinny small boy came out of the bushes. He expected Scott waiting for him at their usual place, but when he saw Malia, he was surprised. That doesn't mean anything good. Scott always showed up himself.

"Where's Scott?" Alec asked, trying to sound as calm as possible. Malia stopped cleaning her nails and looked at him.

"He got shot."

Alec freezed in a movement. Luckily, he wasn't chewing a gum as usually. If he would, he would choke with it.

"He got what?!" he asked, convincing himself he just didn't heard well.

"He got shot," Malia said again and tilted her head, "with bullet filled with wolfsbane," she added.

"Oh my god, is he okay?" asked some redhead girl who came out of the bushes behind Malia.

"Who are you?" he asked. Malia turned around and smiled at her.

"This is Olivia. She will be training with us."

Olivia gave him a weak smile. He returned her the favor. She was really pretty. Her wild curly bronze hair were falling in her chocolate-coloured eyes, so she had to remove them almost every few seconds. Her lovely dark skin was shining on late afternoon sun.

Suddenly something jumped on him and attacked him. Before he even looked at it, he was lying on the ground, with Malia kneeling on his back and twisting his arms in very uncomfortable way.

"You're dead," she said and finally freed him. He stood up on his legs, stretching his hurt arms. He was inconspicuously watching Olivia giggling at him. He started blushing. He literally met her a minute ago and Malia already embarrassed him. Quiet roar came out of his throat.

"What was that?" he asked.

Malia shrugged and said: "You came here to train, didn't you? And no hunter is going warn you before he attack."

He roared again, this time little louder and his eyes turned yellow.

Malia laughed: "Oh, would you look at that, our little wolfie got angry."

Alec attacked her, trying to knock her down. But Malia kept avoiding his punches and kicks like it was nothing more but an anoying fly. Anger in his veins made him attack her over and over again, making him even more furious after every failure until he was so tired, he could barely stand on his legs.

Malia yawned and asked him: "Is that the best you've got?" Then she gave him a well aimed kick in his chest. Alec fell on his back two metres far from Malia and sighted painfully.

"Oh c'mon, shut it, you'll heal soon anyway," she said and turned at Olivia, which looked frightened. In her eyes was mixed fear, desire and respect. When she saw Malia looking at her she swallowed.

"Now you."

Maria jumped at Olivia, who somehow managed to avoid her attack. But before she could proceed it, Malia's fist was heading to her stomach. Olivia groaned in pain and fell on her knees.

"Seriously, Olivia? I thought your alpha have trained you better."

Olivia roared: "Pain makes you stronger," and while Malia was making jokes about Ryan, she quickly stood up and faked punch in Malia's face. She avoided it easily. But what she didn't avoided was kick in her knee.

Malia yelled out of surprise and fell on the ground. Then she smiled at Olivia and said: "Maybe Ryan didn't suck after all."

She tried to get on her legs to continue with the fight, but that's when Alec jumped on her all of sudden from the back.
