"that was" she exhaled "surprising.. what happened between you and jennie?" rosé asked, you stare at her exhausted eyes not knowing what to answer "i-i can't stop blaming myself rosie" you choked out and she knew exactly what you were talking about "it's jennie isn't it? what did she do?" she pushed a strand of hair off your face, caressing your face as she does it "i saw her with someone else rosie and i can't help but think that there is something wrong with me-" she hushed you "hey, there is nothing wrong with you alright she's just a prick why on earth would she fucking do that?!" she said frustrated.

"i think she fell out of love" you said but all you could think of was the color grey. Is this the color of what falling out of love feels like? suddenly everything around you feels lifeless as you realize that maybe she did fall out of love, the question is why?

"hey look at me you're spacing out again" she grabbed your cheeks gently which made you avert your gaze to her "don't think about it too much love but i am 100% sure that you weren't the problem, go to bed" she kisses your forehead as she stands up to get a glass of water

you guys were in the middle of making out when you suddenly push away "wha-" you looked down, "whats wrong love?" she asked "i can't continue this rosie i know this is confusing you too and i can't bear the thought of hurting you because i'm treating you like this" she lifted your chin up with tears brimming her eyes "i don't mind, if it's for you then go, use me, hurt me" and that's when you broke.

you hugged her so tight and full of emotion while you were sobbing onto her shoulder "i-i can't rosie i love you too much to do that and the fact that you would even offer that hurts me so much" you pulled away to see tears also running down her eyes "i can't bear the thought of being away from you, if it hurts then it does but its all worth it if i'm with you" she says and you sat there speechless as she pulls you into another hug.

"it's alright love, everything will be alright" she kisses your head as you continue to sob

"but i'm basically using you as a rebound and i don't want that" you cried "then don't, don't think of me as a rebound think of me as someone who has always been there for you, supported you, and loved you because you mean the world to them because to me you aren't using me as one" she pulled your head away and smiled at you

you swear you saw even a slight glimpse of pain in her eyes as she smiled which hurt you more than how much you were already hurting

"n-no i'm gonna make this right, i'm gonna talk to jennie, i'll end things with her if that means i can make things right between us without you getting hurt, i'm so sorry rosie" you said genuinely because in that moment nothing mattered more to you than making things right with her.

"sure love, it's okay, everything is settled between us so let's get some rest hm?" she smiled beamingly at you which in the end made you smile too.

you laid your keys down on the counter and left your coat on the chair as you walked into the living room to see the one person you used to love with all your heart.

"hi jen" she looked up and gave you a small smile "hi baby, whats up?" you sat down on the chair opposite of where she was sitting "we need to talk" she signaled you to continue "i know you're seeing someone else" her smile disappeared "y/n i-" "no its okay i think i've already dealt with the fact that we both are not meant for each other and that we got the love that we were seeking for in different people" she nodded in agreement "so let me guess.. it's over now then?" you looked at her and nodded finally getting the closure you wanted and the chance to date someone else without making them feel bad.

"thank you y/n, for a lot of things that are too many to mention but mostly for the good memories we shared, thank you for always seeing the good in me and all the others, i can't say i won't miss you but i can definitely say that a piece of my heart will always be with you"

you guys shared a couple of words before you exited the apartment feeling bittersweet, but when you thought of rosé suddenly not everything is grey, everything just came back to life

"babe i'm homeeeee" you greeted hank as he came sprinting to the door "hi hankie" you kissed his head as he licked your cheek "i'm in the kitchen love!" she shouted, you walked over to the kitchen to see her cooking your favorite korean dish, jjangmyeon "so how'd it go?" she asked "well it went better than expected, we ended things on a mature note, mutually deciding that we were meant for different people-" she plated the dish "- and my person being you my love" you kissed her neck which made her let out a giggle "hey that tickles!" she turned around and slapped your shoulder playfully

"but thats good love, now you're all mine" she pulled you by the waist, you kissed her softly but lovingly "all yours my love".
