"Y/N we need to break up." i spoke in a soft tone because i was about to break down
"w-what? n-no n-no baby please" she held my hands tightly
"we p-promised to b-uild a family to-gehter...w-why?" she was sobbing and running out of words to say
i hugged her tightly and kissed her forehead
"you are better off without me" i whispered in her ear
"i'm sorry" i mumbled while i ran away from her
when i closed the door behind me i fell to the floor and started sobbing
"i'm s-sorry dad made me d-do it" i whispered silently
(flashback...)
"ROSEANNE PARK! WHAT IS THIS?" my dad barged into my room and showed me a picture of me and Y/N...kissing. my eyes widened and i immediately stood up
"i-its not what you thi-" he cut me off
"IT IS WHAT I THINK!! SPEAKING OF THINKING WHAT WILL OTHERS THINK ABOUT MY DAUGHTER DATING A GIRL!?" i was about to talk but he cut me off again
"if you don't end whatever is going on between you two. i will make sure to RUIN her life" without saying anymore, he left

4 days later....
Y/N POV
i was softly crying when my phone dinged, a message from...roseanne? why? after all these days?

i got this notification on my phone and it read

followed by a voice saying "you and your loved ones should seek a fallout shelter immediately"
i sighed and my phone started to ring. without looking at name i answered
"hello?" i said blandly
"Y/N-ah.." the familiar voice ringed through my ears, it felt so good to hear her voice again, but it felt bad at the same time because it reminds me of how much pain she put me through
"rosie" i said gently
"did you get that thing on your phone?" she said, her voice shaking a little bit
"yes i did, it makes me kinda sad that the world is actually gonna end" i chuckled to make the mood a little lighter
"can i come over? for the last time?" i smiled and then looked down
"of course" i said above a whisper
"thank you" she ended the call
fuck. this is the last time i'm gonna see her, the last time i'm going to smell her familiar scent, the last time i'll laugh and kiss her

i ran out of my house as fast as possible and on the way there i saw people running, praying and panicking
i looked up to the sky and saw it turning a very light shade of blue

that same blue light seemed to be turning lighter and lighter each second
i ran as fast as i could until i reached her house, i opened the door and saw her there, with tears streaming down her face
i wasted no time and engulfed her in a hug
"shhh hey baby it's okay, it's okay i'm here" i ran my fingers through her hair while she sniffled onto my shirt
"i-i don't wanna l-lose you" she said, her voice still shaky after all that crying
"hey, you never lost me okay?" i lifted her chin up and wiped her tears
"i-i love you r-rosie" she mumbled loud enough for me to hear
i hugged her tightly, some of the light was shining through the windows.
if the world was ending you'd come over right? the sky'd be falling while i hold you tight No, there wouldn't be a reason why we would even have to say goodbye
