Once back at the cave, Riley went immediately to the code breaking room. Sam tried to follow.

"Just wait in the main room, Sam," he huffed impatiently, "I'll let you know when I have something."

Sam stopped and, exhausted, collapsed on the first chair she could find.

Fifteen minutes later, Riley emerged holding a stack of papers. Pulling a sheet out of the stack, he showed it to Sam. It was a blueprint for a thing called the @"5@443@; '36.

Sam shot Riley a confused look. "What is this?"

"It's the Alterrean key," Riley replied. "Well, not strictly an actual key, it's a USB key that, according to my theory, when placed within the USB port on the monitor in gamma base will download the Alterra files–which should give us enough information about them.

Sam looked at the blueprints thoughtfully. "That won't be easy," she said.

"No, it won't. You'll need enough scrap metal and silicone rubber to cover a small country." Riley took the blueprint from Sam.

"I don't think I'll need quite that much" Sam said with a smile.

Riley pressed on, missing the joke. "You'll also need three copper wire, some titanium ingots, and a thing called the Δειιταηεαη ςλφρ."

Sam did a double take."A thing called what now?"

"Sorry," laughed Riley, "The language settings in this pin sometimes misbehave." Riley adjusted the pin that allowed him to speak. "I meant to say Deltanion chip. It's the chip PDAs are made of," he said. "The only place you could possibly find them are in a command line on the Alterra home world."

Sam shook her head. "No way I'm going back there." She rubbed her forehead, thinking hard. "Send everyone besides for you, Avery and Craig into a battle, and tell Craig I need to see him.

"I need you to go get it," Sam said to Craig after explaining what he needed to do.

The explorer gave a wry smile and a quick salute. "Got it, boss."

Sam nodded at Craig and turned to Riley. "I need you to go get the other materials," she said. "I'll tell Avery to start working on a toxic smoke bomb to flush out the guards in gamma base." She paused for a moment. "If I can find it, I'll give him the blueprints for the powerful imploder that I used to implode phi robotics. I'll also see if I can crack the password needed to put in so that we can download the files."

Everyone scattered to get started on what they were supposed to do, and Sam found a blueprint sprawled across the desk in Maida's room. It was exactly the one she was looking for.

"Makes sense," Sam said, "it was her design." Grabbing the blueprint and giving it to Avery, she went to the Code Center. It was a small room that looked a bit like a black control room but instead of base controls there were letters, numbers and other characters. There were Greek letters, Latin letters, English letters, and all manner of numbers. There was a myriad of papers sprawled across the table where a hologram would usually lie. Sam grabbed the controls for the code cracker and started typing things in. She knew what she had to do. She typed the command,

Γ Base-Δ Chip—Σ Ότερα Γουάου Γουέςπει τραΐ. File download database needed. Integer=Altera{steel =

smokebomb =

time = drone}~~_ everything risk__ command line() password. باسورد 패스워드بعير.

She then pressed enter. The machine printed out a piece of paper:

-37°C=B BZ

"Interesting password," Said Sam. Just then, Craig McGill burst through the door, sweat and blood running down his face. He handed Sam a small computer chip with the Delta symbol in the middle. A complicated strain of wires emerged from everywhere on it.

"I got it, boss," he panted.

"Thank you," Said Sam. Taking the chip from Craig, she walked to where Avery was working. The factory room was a large room with command lines and conveyor belts everywhere. Miscellaneous tools hung on the walls and there were rows and rows of lockers filled with different materials. Avery was studying a blueprint.

"I got the chip," said Sam.

A wide smile split Avery's face. "Nice!" Taking the chip from Sam's hand he said, "can you grab something from that table? It looks like a USB drive with the alterra symbol in the middle."

"This?"

"Yep." Avery slowly and carefully picked up a pair of tweezers and placed the chip inside of the slot at the top of the USB.

"That should do it." He said. Avery picked three items off the table and handed them to Sam.

He pointed to a small, marble-like item. "This is a smoke bomb, you'll be able to flush out the people within gamma base."

Sam nodded and put the bomb in her bag. She pointed to the next item. "And this one?"

"This one is the USB drive you need to download the Alterra files."

"Gotcha," said Sam. "And the last one?" Sam pointed at a black item that was shaped like a small banana.

"This is the imploder. I've set it to go off exactly two minutes after the files are downloaded." Avery touched Sam's arm. "Make sure you're nowhere around when that happens."

Sam put the key and the imploder in her pocket. "Thanks," she said, "I owe you one."

Sam gave his shoulder a squeeze and started off towards gamma base.
