Daddy put his arms around me, petting my hair, and rubbing my back.

"Shhhhhh, baby... It'll be okay..." I had just woken up from a nightmare about my dad hitting me. "He can't hurt you... Your safe with daddy." He grabbed my sonic plushie, and gave it to me, aswell as my blue paci.

"Scary..." I cry, shoving my face in his chest.

"He's not here, you'll be alright... Shhhh." He kissed my forehead, and I looked up at him.

"I want baba." I say, sniffling.

"You want your bottle?" I shake my head. "A sippy cup? I nod, and he smiles. "Okay, I'll be right back with some juice in a sippy cup."

I start crying even harder, and he holds me closely on his lap. I sneeze, and cough, also hiccuping.

"Oh honey..." He puts the back of his hand on my head. "Your burning up! No wonder you can't sleep!" He makes a sad face, and I attach myself to him, as he runs down the stairs of our house, quickly getting an icepack, and my juice.

"Can I have blankie too?" I point to the couch, where my blanket was laying.

"Of course you can!" He went over to the couch, grabbing my blanket, and wrapping me in it. He rushes back upstaris with me, and everything else in his arms.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asks me, tucking me really comfy into the bed.

"Yes please daddy." He praised me for my good manners, and turned on Alice In Wonderland. He gives me my sonic plush, while putting my paci in my mouth.

"I'm going put this cold icepack on your head, okay?" I nod weakly, and flinch when the coldness reaches my head.

"Owie..." I whine, and make grabby hands for daddy, signaling  that I wanted cuddles.

He cuddles close to me, and kisses my lips. I kiss back, and he wraps his big muscular arms around me. We break apart, and he smiles. I smile back, and rub my eyes.

Daddy starts singing:
