After I gave some small pep talk to Yuta, I decided to meet the higher-ups to report, or rather explain, what the actual thing happened in their mission.

"Well, if you insist." I emit a deep and audible breath to express how serious our topic will be going. "Have you ever heard about these people who's calling themselves, Esper?"

"Ah, you mean those individuals that using psychic ability instead of cursed technique?"

"Why? Did you actually manage to met a real one?" She then gave me a suspicious glare. "Aren't they all fake, and like to create cults or something to brag about they're so called ability?" she bitterly asked.

Before she could even say a word, I heartily laugh my ass out while desperately clutching on my stomach.

"The hell's funny, Satoru?" she coldly asked.

"You, and your bitterness towards them," I playfully reply in return.

"Tsk! It's not my fault that I only encounter those stupid wannabes that's trying to sell some merchandise or lucky charms at me," she scoffed before puffing some smoke from her cigarette. "So, do you really manage to met one?"

"Yes!" I boastfully replied before wearing my signature eye glasses. "And let me tell you this, Shoko-chan~!"

She raised a brow a first, "Go on..."
