Her body stiffened for a split second before she hurriedly move and almost stumble on her feet just to face the owner of that voice.

"D-Dimple?" she weakly called out of desperation.

Shinra doesn't much expect what figure of him will welcomes her next, whether it's a human or not,  as long as she could see her friend and talk to him again.

Her brown eyes starts to get a little bit misty after clearly seeing  the appearance of her friend, Ekubo, who looks exactly like her but in a dry root-like version.

"Wait—! I remember now, is that one of your favorite characters lines in manga?" he jokingly asked before he starts walking towards her. "Hey, kid, did you anticipate this day to happen?"

"H-Huh?"

"And ready yourself to use that cringe line on me?"

"N-No! No, It's . . . It's just . . ." she shyly look at the ground in attempt to hide her blushing face because of pure embarrassment. "It's just a he-heat of the mo-mo-mome—"

"I know, and its kind of funny to watch, honestly . . . but . . ."

Shinra then feel a light pat on the top of her head.

"I'm already dead so what's the point?"

Even though Shinra already see where they conversation are going, the poor esper cannot still respond easily after hearing that, and it's definitely hurting her in any possible way.

It sucks, she feel useless for not finding an enough solution to at least save him. It hurts that she can clearly perceive the worthless in her worth for letting this all happened. And mostly, she regret all of it.

If she doesn't let go Dimple at that time, when they were hiking at the mountain with her master, none all of this will ever happen.

Dimple immediately cut Shinra off by grabbing both of her cheeks to forcefully calm her down...

Her fragile heart almost drop in pure horror after confirming her suspicion.
