Before I could even react, that thing instantly opened its mouth and swallowed me whole.

"But I guess an Esper will suffice."

That's the last thing I heard before the creature closed its huge mouth.

The moment I answered Inumaki's congratulatory high five, a large and highly dangerous cursed-spirit with long and worm-like body suddenly appear not far from us. 

Another one?

It first attacked something from one the stalls in the second floor before slithering it's way towards us.

"Inumaki-kun!" 

"Salmon!"

Before I could even sheath my katana, and Inumaki use his cursed speech, my eyes almost popped out from its socket when something unexpected happen.

In a flash, half of its body instantly exploded from the inside, leaving a small and irregular trace of its pieces and a familiar girl with twin-pigtails and brown eyes.

Her whole body is covered with bright blue with a mix shades of pink and purple light. I also noticed that she's slightly floating on the surface while her black hair and clothes are almost completely bouyant in the air.

The three of us just silently stare at one another before the mysterious girl breaks it by raising her right hand and making a ring gesture.

"I'm okay..." she calmly assured to us before finally landing her feet on the ground. "Are you two, o-okay?"

"We-We're fine, thank you," I subconsciously replied.

My whole mind and awareness is still pretty perplexed because of what just happened.

I think I've seen her before? Is she also a jujutsu sorcerer? But from another school? Then this will all make sense, especially the thing she did earlier, if she's also a jujutsu sorcerer like us but from th—

"Tuna mayo," Inumaki said making me conscious again.

"Tu-Tuna mayo?" Her brow furrowed in confusion. "So-Sorry but, I . . . I don't have tuna mayo ri-right no—"

"Oh, n-no! No, that's not what he meant, Miss uhh..." I then sheepishly scratched the back of my head, "Can we know your name first?"

"Uhh... it's Shin—" she cut herself off while suspiciously looking at us, "Mo-Mo-Mob! My name is Mob."

By just listening to her trembling voice, Inumaki and I knew already that she's lying. But why to bother? Do we look like a dangerous person for her personal stan—

I then realized the deadly weapon on my back.

"Shake," Inumaki said to me.

"Ah, right! Then my name is Yuta, Okkotsu Yuta." 

"O-Okay..."

"And this is my frie—classmate, Inumaki Toge. We are first year student from Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College for uhh..." I look at Inumaki first.
