How was I supposed to react at such news?

I didn't want to marry someone I didn't know. I want to marry someone I truly love, not a man who didn't know what love is.

If he is the same Alpha Leo we’re talking about then I’m screwed.

I wasn’t functioning properly that moment. I wasn't functioning at all 

Arranged marriage

“Esme,” My father was fanning my face “Esme? Hello?” My face was probably yellow 

“Yeah…I’m…I’m…here” I breathed out “Don’t I get a saying on this topic?” I looked at the Alpha with little hope and disgust not from him but the idea of having to live with someone that didn't know your existence before

“I’m sorry but it’s already been arranged” Monroe looked at me disappointingly like there is no way out

“But… But why me?”

“As I said, you're the only high ranked woman with no mate and all we had to offer to make sure the other pack doesn't attack. It’s not even a peace treaty between our packs, its just for this time”

“Offer?” I stood up with rage “Offer? Do I look like a piece of land or a thing that can just be offered?”

Offer? Seriously?

“We’ve protected you for 20 years, why cant you protect us?” Alpha stood up not as mad as I was. 

He obviously understands my anger or he would've killed me in place with a glare.

“Oh! Oooh let me sink that in” He seriously is making me feel like crap “You’re using me. And I'm not even good enough. That's nice” my sarcasm is noticeable “that’s not enough Alpha you've ‘protected’ me for 20 years, what else do you wish me to do?”

“Get out” He yelled pointing at the door

“Gladly” I was running to the door 

“End of discussion. You're going to marry him.” 

That was the last thing i’ve heard before slamming the door and running out of the pack house

What were they thinking offering me to stop an attack? Why cant they just fight back that’s what I learned packs do, not offer a vulnerable human to the most ruthless Alpha existing.

What I’ve heard of Alpha Leonard is anything and everything that is not pleasant.

Even before his mate came into his life and disappeared he was vicious

Don’t you ever get the feeling that you just heard the news for the first time, like it hit you once again then forget then hit you once again over and over?

Well that just happened 

I am marrying a man, not an ordinary man but an Alpha who's rumored that whoever looked at him is wishing for death, an Alpha who’s heart is broken because his mate left and his heart has no place for no one else

An Alpha who will take advantage of my fragile figure and heart for his own pleasure in any way and will leave me 

I should definitely get a baseball bat just in case

I just have to live with it. I thought of running away but he’ll find me even if I was in deepest hell and if I kill myself i’ll make things way worse.

Wedding dress, planning, make up and hair all of that need to be decided in one week 

How am I supposed to relax when I have all that planning ahead.

Guess I have to meet Mister Alpha to get this done

My usual days for as long as I remember consisted of me and Allison eating and sleeping, now a tons of bricks just added to my back
