Alpha's Wife

Chapter Six

(Allison POV) 

Even Alpha Leo is surprised as I was. He didn't know I was alpha’s daughter and mateless. He would've chosen a high ranked werewolf and not a human. Not that I’m dissing Esme but she always gets the good thing even when she doesn't deserve it. 

“Alli” My father greeted me as he came out of the office to stand next to the other packs Alpha and Beta “Why don’t you join us in the living area?”

Maybe I could change the Leo’s mind on the marriage and make him re consider who he’s committing to “Sure” I put on my charming smile and looked at Leonardo WHO IS NOT LOOKING AT ME?!???! 

We made our way to the living area. Don’t get me wrong I love Esme and we grew up together but I really envy her. She is a simple human in a complex werewolf world that attracts all the good things without even wanting or trying. She doesn’t see all her blessings of having everyone under her feet because she is ‘insecure’. Who is she lying to? It really pisses me off. And she doesn't have to be so royal because she is not the Alpha’s daughter. 

We sat down on the beige couches. Both alphas on one big couch, me and the beta in two different couches. One of the helpers set a tray of coffee mugs on the glass table in the middle. 

“You chose a human” I stated while twirling my hair around my index finger “Such a shame”

Leo started at me with blank eyes not indicating any emotions. WHY CANT HE JUST SMILE

“I know she won’t threaten my pack with power and bitchiness” He spat back 

“So you chose her cause she’s vulnerable?” I talked back pretending like what he said didn't affect me

His eyes darkened until a voice interrupted us

“Hey” Edward came in smiling and bowing in repeat before the two Alphas present in the room and turned to Wilmer and they both exchanged bows. 

“Esme is looking for you” I blurt out without realization 

“She’s been gone for a while” Leonardo’s husky voice held no emotions of worry or anything at all 

“I’ve been out sinc-“ Everything went silent when an ear piercing scream erupted from upstairs that belong to the one and only Esme

In a blink Leonardo and Wilmer were out of sight and me, dad, Edward followed Esme’s scent

(Esme)

 Out of all the doors that I’ve passed by I so happily decided to open the one that had a dead body. I couldn’t think of who it belongs to or how they died but figured there is a lot of dried blood. I just screamed indicating help. 

My stomach is about to explode and I don't mind removing my eyes from its socket to erase what I saw. 

This is horrible. A dead body, a lot of blood, and probably been there a while since it’s smells like rotten garbage.

I tripped walking backwards until I hit a wall but obviously not a wall since it grabbed my waist.

“AAAAA” I yelled and tried to get out of whoever is trying to kill me

Oh My god! 

What the man lying dead in the floor was murdered and the killer is behind me?

“Esme” His voice is just to sexy to be mistaken with any other “Stop!” Leonardo demanded 

I relaxed but still can’t get the horrifying sight out of my eyes

I turned around to see him holding his nose disgusted

Do I smell bad?

“I took a shower yesterday” I said my face burning red in embarrassment

It’s so embarrassing but better than to have him think I don’t shower

“Esme it’s not you…It’s the smell of whoever is dead in there” 

Oh My God!

THIS IS SO HUMILIATING. I FORGOT ABOUT THEIR MEGA SUPER SMELL SENSE

“Stay with her and don’t move” He looked at Wilmer who is standing behind us “No one in” 

“Yes Alpha” Wilmer nodded and stood next to me 

Just the second Leo was out of site his beta laughed his ass off

“Seriously?” He let out between his donkey laugh 

I literally glow red in the dark of how much my cheeks are burning bright 

Edward, Allison and Monroe came to view and Wilmer wore his serious expression 

“Are you okay?” Edward ran towards me inspecting my body for any injury 

The moment he hugged my I began sobbing 

The image of the torn, scratched, ripped body flooded my head 

“You can’t go in Alpha” without looking I knew Wilmer is trying to stop Monroe from going past the corridor 

“What do you mean?” Monroe spat back while raising his voice “This is my pack house and someone’s dead”

“You obviously really do care since you have one of your pack members lying dead for almost 4 days” Leonardo’s voice was louder than usual when he spoke

I look up wiping my tears. Edward still has his hands around me

“Don’t you dare?” Monroe is pointing at Leo threateningly his blue eyes, that Allison inherited, are wide and might fall off

Alpha Monroe and Edward made their way to the room and I went to Alli 

“Hey” She held my hands “Are you okay?”

“Yeah” I nodded looking at the ground then looked back at Leo and Wilmer who were talking in a low voice 

I looked back Alli who was staring at were I was a moment ago then she snapped her head my way “Let’s go” While tugging my arms 

On our way downstairs I started thinking if Leo will re consider the marriage to someone from this pack after that incidence 

Did he get murdered or attempted suicide? 

All the possibilities were trailing in my head until I realized I am standing on the front porch of my home

I wonder what will happen now
