One week later.

Alana

I felt like shit and I looked like shit. And it's not because I was working my ass off today but because I was constantly being washed with guilt. Rio decided not to show up to work today. And yesterday. And day before yesterday. And day before yesterday's yesterday. Till it was a week he hadn't been delivering packages. His duties are covered by someone else but I knew his schedule, I knew he was taking days off to ignore seeing me. It was a routine for him to bring me flowers on his first shift and when hadn't been doing so this past week, people at my job even noticed.

While I was ignoring every call and text from Sincere, Rio was doing the same to mine. I was enduring too many unpleasant emotions this week, with one being embarrassment. The fact that I let Sin get the satisfaction that he needed. He now knows for sure that I love him and knowing Sincere he'll never let that go. Second emotion is guilt. Once in a while, by while I mean every fucking second, Rio's face on the night we had our unspoken break up, appears in my head. Replaying over and over. I hate being a Pisces because I overthink everything and that just leads me to feeling ten times worse than the previous two seconds ago.

Releasing a sigh, I landed on my bed, back first.
You let this happen.
Rio's word resurfacing for the seventh day.
I sank into my thoughts.
Things are sinking for me already....my relationship jumping the plank first. All because a nigga with a adjective as a name is back.

You contributed to this infidelity just as much Alana
I know, leave me alone.

Annoyed by my thoughts, I got off my bed, heading out my room. I walked down my hall and into my open living room space.
The remains of the picture frame Sincere had destroyed was still there...shattered.
Talk about foreshadowing.
I hadn't cleaned it up for I just simply forgot to.
I separated the picture from the frame and broken glass pieces and picked it up.

I remember this day.
Rio had unexpectedly showed up at my front door, the first week of us meeting and told me we were going on a date. He surprised me by taking me to six flags, a few days prior I told him Ive never been, so we spent the whole day there and I loved it.

Rio was that person who made the effort. He took note of every little detail in my life. I remember for Valentine's Day, he brought me Roses, unaware that I was allergic to every flower except Sunflowers. That day started his streak of bringing me Sunflowers to my work every day.

I remember the time Sincere and I found out about my allergy.

It was a high school musical type of moment.
We'd snuck off to our school's rooftop which had a garden just like the one in high school musical. We were skipping maths when he thought about the getaway. We were surrounded by all types of plants when Sin decided to pick up a Tiger Lily. He got on one knee, pretending to propose, I bent down to smell the flower and before he could get the words out I started sneezing. He was laughing his ass off while I was on the verge of death. I got away from the flower and that's when the sneezing stopped, we both realised this and that's when he thought it was just the Tiger Lilly. So he picked up a Tulip. Same thing happened. I begged him not to try again, cause a bitch was dying, but in his mind he thought it was just the specific flowers he picked up. So he picked up a Sunflower and when nothing happened, he started calling me Sunflower as a tease but it soon became his signature nickname for me.

There was a ring at my doorbell.
I got up, placing the picture back down. I walked to my door and peeped through the peep hole.
It was my lobby's receptionist.
I opened my door, "Um Hi Emily" I greeted her, confused on why she was at my door.
"Sorry to disturb you, but these were left on my desk for you by a young man. I would've called but our phone is currently broken" she held out in her hand the spare keys to my apartment that I gave to Rio. I sighed, taking the keys and thanking her.
I closed my door and looked at the keys.
He's really done with me
