Chapter 13 Xzavier.
We all made our way to the meeting room my mom and dad, myself and my future Luna along with the beta family for the arrival of the Alpha and the Mate of Lucile.
Normally we like to greet our guests at the front porch. But this isnt going to be a pleasant meeting. 
Within 10 minutes they where walking in the room the Alpha of the fire falls pack along with his beta and 3 guards. One i assumed was the asshole who beat his mate and daughter.
It didnt take a second before Mia stiffened. I knew before the link came.  He was here.
‘It's him. The 4th scent the one standing behind the Alpha’ Mia confirmed i felt all minds within the link everyone in the room was included in it.  Those part of our pack anyway.
My dad and the Alpha greeted each other.
I gave a small nod towards the alpha and he nodded back.
“I’m going to cut the small talk here and get straight to the problem at hand. We have  a women here with a small child who was attacked outside our borders.  We brought them in and got her the care she needed.  The problem is the wolf that attacked her wasn’t a rogue. Its was her mate.” I watched as the warrior stiffened slightly. I guess he thought we would blame a rouge.
“The women and child are from your pack Alpha and are the mate of the warrior stood behind you" my dad finished 
The Alpha turned to face his Warrior.
“Impossible ive known Gary his whole life he dotes on his mate and daughter” the Alpha argued “how can you be certain of this?”
Gary didnt move obviously thinking there was no proof.
‘Mia if you would’ my dad linked.
“I was first on scene, i smelled your warriors scent. He tried to mask it but i have a very keen nose” she stood there confident and proud.
“No one can smell a masked scent” the Beta stated. 
“And i shouldn’t be able to tell you had a spicy chicken burrito with salsa and sour cream for your lunch from where im standing either but i can smell it, just like i can smell the fear currently leaking off your warrior right now. We dont just have his scent at the scene we have the word of his mate hes been beating her for years. She didnt feel like she could tell you because of who he was. The last straw was when he beat his own pup. So she ran! And he hunted her down and almost killed her!!” Mias voice had risen. I could feel her anger pouring off her.
“The stupid fucking bitch opened her mouth! I did t want a weak mate like her. I was happy about the pup until i seen she was just as weak as her good for nothing mother!” Gary yelled.
The Beta and Alpha along with the other guards they had where clearly shocked by this. He must have been good at playing happy families.
The shock quickly wore off though and his Alpha quickly punched his warrior in the face.
What happened next happened so fast i barely had time to blink.
Mia was across the room and had the worrier held by his throat!
“Your the weak one! Your the good for nothing piece of shit!” she hissed at him. She held with such strength his feet wasn’t even touching the floor.
“Mia.. let him go the guards will take him to our dungeons while we discuss the matter with his Alpha.” My father stated. He could feel it too. Looking around the room i saw that everyone could feel it.
The anger and power radiating off her.  Mia my kind hearted mate was now a force to be reckoned with.  Kind hearted and as much as she refused to hurt people she was fiercely protective of those who couldn’t protect themselves. 
“I should just brake your goddamn neck now or rip your heart out your chest, but i would rather see you suffer first.” I walked to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her cheek.  She fit against me perfectly and as much as i wanted to watch her rip his heart out i knew i couldn’t let her.  Politics and all that.
“let him go, my love. He will get what he deserves” i say to her. My mate my Luna was fucking amazing! I watch as her anger begins to dissipate and she lowers him but doesn’t let go until our guards have a hold of him.
I stroke the back of my hand down her cheek feeling the sparks and lead back towards Jackson where she was standing next to us. 
“Should have let her rip his heart out" the Alpha of Fire falls pack says. I smirk at the response when he cant see then when i turn back my face is the emotionless mask i have perfected for these types of meetings.
I keep a hold of Mias hand beside me and give a gentle squeeze. 
“I would like to speak with Lucille, if you dont mind Alpha Max. Thank you for your help with this matter.” The Alpha of fire falls says. I can never remember his name. There are so many to remember and this is the first time I’ve met this Alpha.
The only time all the Alphas converge together is if there is something going on that affects us all.  These are usually held by the Alpha King. The descendent from the royal blood line that ruled us many generations ago. Now the Alpha kings only gets involved with other pack business if it is volatile enough to do so.
“of course i will take you to our pack hospital. She will be able to tell you more to stop any doubt even despite his outburst before.. his wolf is Black and has a white tipped tail yes? “ I father asks.
“Yes thats his wolf. How did you know?”
“There was a witness to a fleeing wolf before we got there. A travelling wolf who was seeking passage through my territory to visit his brother at a neighbouring pack. He tried to save Lucille.”
‘We should stay back with Mia. She’s radiating anger and power right now. She’s holding back for us but we need to get her calm’ Storm says.
We could feel it. It had to be because the blood moon was tomorrow. It was making her moods erratic but still the power she radiated before was strong. Almost as strong as mine but for some reason i feel that that was only the  lid loosened slightly on her power. Storm and i  for some reason could sense she was a lot more powerful.
‘we will stay back.’ I link to my dad and then slightly nudge my head towards mia. He understood. Right away we couldn’t let other packs know about Mia being blood blessed until we where certain. Her power will be converted.
Once they left the meeting room and all that was left was Mia me and Jackson.  I turned to her.
“My love” i say as i cup her cheek she leans into my touch and i can see her Amber eyes glowing.
Since the day her we found Lucile Mias eyes hadnt returned back to her silver grey. The whole pack knew about Mia we didn’t keep secrets from them unless it was a matter of security and safety but the pack is family they have all sworn not to say a word about Mia to anyone outside this pack.
“i know your angry Mia but i need you to calm down. My love”  i watch as her eyes slowly lose the glow but remain that Amber colour.
I nod “Good”
“I’m so proud, you actually threated to rip his heart out.  I knew there was a bad ass bitch in there” Jackson joked.
“Was it Dusk who made the threat? did she take control" i question.
Mia looks at me with a mixture of shock and guilt.
“It was both of us. Im the one that acted and grabbed him. Dusk just help voice what i wanted to do to him" she says looking down.
“And now you feel guilty about it” it was a question i already knew she did because that’s who she is.  She loves and protects fiercely but she also has compassion and mercy and feels guilt when her actions and decisions are made in anger. 
She nods. “Don’t. That was one of the best god damn things you’ve done. Sexy as hell watching you lift a grown ass man off the ground and threaten him with such fierceness.” I state and then pull her in my arms and kiss her.
The whole room falls away as her plump lips aand  tongue moves against mine in a sweet caress that has me pinning her against the wall. My hand in her hair as i tilt her head to deepen the kiss. My other hand runs from her hip around to her soft round ass.
A throat clearing behind me has me breaking the kiss with a growl aimed right at Jackson who i forgot was even there. I only aimed fir a sweet kiss not one so heated.
Mia’s face turns bright red in embarrassment but her chest is rising and falling rapidly against mine. Making me want to just forget Jackson and take her here and now against the wall.
’16 remember. Her wolf hasnt recognised the mate bond' Jackson links.
FUCK! I cant have her until her wolf recognises the mate bond. I know i affect her. Im able to calm her and i see the way she leans into my touch. But it wont be the she affects me, not as strong or as powerful.
I place my forehead to hers and breath deep. “sorry my love.” I whisper then pull away from her.
We make our way out the meeting room and towards the kitchen and get something to eat and continue to talk about training and school and what will happen tomorrow.
“So we will be in the meeting room from 7pm and we will just enjoy the company of those mated and marked as they wont try anything. It will inly be me and Jackson there who are unmarked and courtney of course. So we will be in the room when whatever happens with the Blood moon starts. Ill be with you all night” i tell her. She nods.
“Jackson will you stay with court. Justin wont be there since he will l be with his mate” she asks
“Don’t worry ill protect your little friend” he says.
That’s when the front door of the pack house is thrown open.  We all jump to our feet and run towards the door.
The Alpha and Beta of Fires falls storms in their eyes black as their wolves are in control. Followed by my dad and mom and Lucille. Who is being supported by Jones. 
We watch as they head down to dungeons and follow behind. Mia hurries ahead and holds Lucille’s hand. 
When we reach the bottom i can hear the connection of flesh on flesh. I soon see the Alpha punching his ex guard followed by a punch from the Beta.
The guards face is bloody and swollen from the beating.  They both stop hitting him at the same time and straighten up the Beta takes hold of the guards head and forces him to his feet.
“You disgust me! You always acted so loving in public but behind closed doors the things you did to your mate are atrocious but to then beat your pup..” the Alpha punches him in the gut.
I watch as his Lucille flinches slightly but the look of hatred in her eyes tells me she doesn’t care anymore despite the mate bond.  
She steps forward and looks her mate in his swollen eyes “I Lucille black worth reject you Gary carter as my mate"  i watch as he groans in pain and Lucille stumbles as the bond starts to break. I didn’t know it was possible to break the mate bond once we marked each other.
“I accept your rejection. Should have rejected you from the moment i knew you where my mate" Gary snarls.
‘How can that be possible?’ Jackson links to us.
‘It cant normally after the mate process is complete. Wolves can split from there mates its painful and hard and they can say the rejection but it doesn’t break the bond but on rare occasion the moon goddess grants a mate bond to be served When the rejection is said’ beta jones links back.
Something new learnt today.
I watched as the mark burnt away on their necks. It was a sight to be seen to be believed.
Despite his words i could see the pain the severed mate bond had caused him. My mom moved forward and took Lucille away, back up to the main house.
“Maybe you should go upstairs girl. You shouldn’t have to see what happens next”  the beta of Fire falls said to Mia.
“Its Mia and i  know i shouldn’t have to but damn do i want to watch him get what he deserves” Mia responds still standing there defiantly.
‘Damn and just a few months ago she wouldnt have even hurt a poor fly’ Jackson linked to me.
‘She's come along way. I guess she now knows its not all happy families. That’s there is a need to be brutal in our world. She knew it before no doubt but its different knowing and seeing’ i link back. 
“I’m going to link my whole pack what we have found out here today. While i carry out his Sentence”  Alpha said.
I watched his eyes glazed over for the mind link. There was no need for him to say it out loud but when he got to the sentence of this wolf he did for us too.
“As a result of his disgusting actions i sentence Gary to death.”
We watched as the Alpha stood behind Gary taken a hold of him in a position to break his neck.
“Mia, last chance to leave” the Alpha said.
“Just do it before i kill him my self” she sneers.
The Alpha snaps his neck in a quick motion.  I watch as he slumps to the floor.  He straightens up and faces Me and my dad.  Then addressing Mia mid-point.
“That’s some future Luna you have there, strong and powerful not shying away from the ugliness.. but i think your kind and protective too. I seen the way you protected Lucille and Daisy kept talking about you.  She said you where lovely and she really liked you... you will truly be a perfect Luna"
I beam at Mia. Thankful for the praise. I already knew she was perfect but hearing someone else say it had me and my wolf standing taller and prideful.
“Thank you for your assistance Alpha Max. Lucille and Daisy will be returning home with us. She has family still in our pack.... i would like to discuss a future alliance with this pack. I know we are not on bad terms but we dont work together either. I would like to change that” 
“I would love nothing more then to discuss this with you Alpha Julian. We shall go to my office. Boys as future of this pack your attendance is required. Mia could you help get Lucille and Daisy ready to head home?” my dad states 
“I would love nothing more Alpha" she states leading the way upstairs.
Its a few hours later before we emerge from the office. Alliances with others Packs important to the future of both packs. It allows us to work together and assist each other when the needs arises.
Since it is late we offered for them to stay until morning but they have already been away from their pack for to long and need to get back.
We say goodbye to them out front the pack house. Mia and her family hug Lucille and Daisy goodbye.  I really hope their lives will be better now that the monster is gone from their home.
His body has already been burnt and ashes scattered. He is no more.
I walk with Mia to her family car to say goodnight.
“Sweet dreams my love” i say as i give her a sweet and gentle kiss. I dint know how long the kiss lasts as time and space disappear when i kiss her but the growl behind me pulls me back to reality. I turn breaking off the kiss.
“Stop their mates” miaa mom says as she gives her dad a little smack on his chest.
“ i don’t care she’s still my little girl" he grunts.
“My apologies Mr Sanderson.” I say as i give Mias hand a squeeze.
“Goodnight” i say as i head back to the pack house and turn in for the night.
With only one thought on my mind. How perfect mia is.
Mia
I woke up just as the day had begun.  Today was my 17th Birthday.  Its the only morning where training was taken place but i was required to go.  A gift.
I have changed since gaining my wolf even more so this past week. I had always known there was a darker brutal side to being a werewolf, though i had never seen it.
There hasnt been a war for generations but we do still get rouge attacks as they want to claim more land.
Rouge wolves are those who have been exiled or banished from their pack for crimes they have committed there are those who choose to leave the pack like Adrian did. They take longer to become wild and give in to the animalistic urges.
Even though i had never seen it i wasn’t going  to shy away from the brutality.  I had that same brutality in me though yesterday was the first  time i had wanted to be brutal.
In a way my life has been sheltered but in another it hasn’t.  My dad and mom never tried to shield me when he came hone bloody after fighting off rogues. I always watched when he trained in the back garden. I clearly took it in without realising.  My mom always explained things to me that i needed to know. Even things that an 11 year old didn’t that was when i got the first sex talk from her.
Dad always told me stories of battles and cruel werewolves. He always told me things and made sure i was aware that even though a werewolf may be cruel a lot of the time its a necessity to ensure everyone is safe. 
I was sheltered in a way because i had never actually seen it. My pack was safe and secure. We had amazing warriors and our patrol changes where never the same as the night before.  That way we couldn’t be watched and attacked easily.
Our allied packs did things differently as i had learn from visiting Silver lake pack. They didnt mind sharing some details of how they did things but never shared their patrols or security information. Couldn’t blame them although allied together the safety of the pack is paramount.
‘Happy birthday to us Dusk'
‘Happy birthday to us’ she repeated. I could feel her getting agitated bouncing from paw to paw in my mind.
I chuckled at my excited wolf.
I jumped out of bed an changed into old clothes. We needed a run.
I made my way downstairs and into the lichen to grab a bit to eat before letting dusk out. My dad walked into the kitchen followed by my mom.
“Happy birthday baby girl!” my dad says pulling me in to a hug.
“Happy birthday princess! I was hoping you would sleep in so I could make you a birthday breakfast” my mom says
“That sounds great mom. Dusk is bouncing to be let out so when i get back we can have that breakfast”
“great. Your gift will be given to you later when dads back from patrol”
“Thank you”
My dad kissed my head as left to start his shift.
I finished my apple and muffin i was having and then headed out the back door as my mom made a start on breakfast.
I made a run for the tree line at the back of my house and then shifted.  Clothes ripping in the process.
‘That eager you couldn’t wait to save our clothes’ i chuckled.
‘Nope' she laughed and took control to run.
We where running for a while before i heard a growl and a whimper to my left. I was by the border i could feel the perimeter line in my bones.
I made my way towards it allowing my senses to enhance from a normal wolf.
Rotten meat! Rogues!!!!
‘ROUGUES NEAR THE WEST BORDER!’  i linked to my dad and by extension the patrol since they had an open link to each other!
‘how many?’
‘I smell six and 3 humans! No visual yet'
‘get visual but dont engage until we get there’
I Made my way forward slowly and quietly to not alert them.
When i got a clear view of the situation i linked the image back to the patrol.  There stood 6 rogue wolves one at the front.  The others behind.  The 3 humans when crouched low and slowly trying to back away.
The rogues snarled and snapped at them and i watched as 2 of the wolves made their way around to stop them form escaping.
They where playing with them before they attacked. I could see it.
I moved to my right getting in position to jump and blocked the rouges from the humans but so that the humans would be blocked behind me and the oak  tree.
I could see the humans looking for a way out and smell the fear coming off them.
I was still waiting for the pack to come but i had ran out of time just as the first rouge jumped to attack i was out of my hiding spot and mid air before i landed on my paws in front of the rouge i knocked him back in the process and then snarled at him. I used my hide to nudge the humans behind me as gently as i could.
‘We are so dead another wolf.’ One of the humans whined.
I snapped again as the rogues started circling around me snarling.
“I think this ones trying to protect us.... or claim us from them for her dinner”
“how do you knew its a she?”
I internally rolled my eyes.... dinner ha! If only they knew. And they are currently having a normal conversation when they are clearly scared.
One of the rogues jumped forward to bite into my front leg and that when everything for turned to a shade of red.
I attacked the wolf ripping out its throat easily and fought the other 5 and killed them too.  The metallic taste of their blood in my mouth and i could knew i was covered in to.
I then smelled my pack at the border they where just stood there stunned. I dont even know how long they where there for. I looked back to the humans still hadn’t moved. Their eyes darting between me and the dead wolves then to those of my pack still stood frozen.
I barked at the humans pulling them from their stupor and barked again at the direction of town.
I couldn’t show to much intelligence like nodding my head or waving my paw towards town. It would have them thinking things that they really shouldn’t think.
“I dont know of you can understand me at all but... thank you" one of them said before they all ran off.
I shook off the blood from my fur and turned back to my pack.
‘How long where you just standing their gawking?’
‘Long enough to see you take out 5 wolves like you where just drinking your morning coffee’ my dad stood proud.
‘You truly are an excellent fighter, little wolf’ Xzavier linked to me. I saw him, Jackson and the Alpha walking towards me in their wolf form.
‘yup saw it all through the mind link. Excellent skills Mia. Well done and a very happy birthday’ Alpha max said.
‘Thank you Alpha’
A chorus of happy birthday came through the link. Before everyone went back to their posts.
‘Happy birthday my love. Lets get you home and cleaned up’
‘Dusk is very agitated. She needs more exercise.’
‘how about sparing in your wolf form? It will be good for you both’ Jackson said.
‘Yes that will do’ dusk said.
With a nod we all ran back towards the training grounds whole the patrol took care of  the rogue bodies.
I spent the next 2 hours sparring in wolf form after being hosed down for the blood. I went through half the pack that was training sparing with them until they submitted. A lot of them got good hits in despite Xzaviers growls which caused a lot of them to back off but after i got annoyed at him he went stalking into the pack house.
I knew it wasn’t his fault as his mate his instinct is to protect me.  The bond had grown stronger for him of the past year  i could tell it took everything in him to walk back into the pack house. 
Although i was affected by him and his presence and lack of it at times, because i hadn’t reached 18 yet my wolf didn’t recognise the bond so it wasn’t as strong for me.
I had just got another wolf to submit, the packs mentality is to protect their Luna. Me being their future Luna they where reluctant to harm me at first but i played on the fact that their wolves who also want to prove their worth to me too and would take any opportunity for my attention.  Everyone i fought gave a good fight but i was still hopping from foot to foot.
I was practically bouncing with energy.  Deciding i had put them through enough i went a phased back to my human form putting a large top from a tree to cover myself.
“You all did extremely well put up a good fight. Well done” i said facing those i had fought today.  Cade Praised them too and ended training for today.
“The new student quickly became the master” cade says walking beside me back to the pack house.
I laughed “i doubt i would be any better then you if i wasnt some magically rare wolf”
“i think you would be just as good as me even if you weren’t.. how did you put it... magical” he laughed.
“Your still bouncing .... after a run, a fight and 2 hours of sparing” Jackson said as he walked to me from the pack house.
“Yeah i dont know what’s going on but both me and Dusk just cant seem to stop.” I said.
Jackson nodded and cade headed off to the pack house.
“Your moms here brought over a load of desserts. Said she was waiting for your Birthday breakfast and got carried away when you didnt return" i groaned
“Damn ive been to full of this energy i forgot about breakfast"
I jogged the rest of the way to the pack house and made my way into the kitchen where i found my mom and Luna.
“Luna.. mom im sorry. I got distracted and carried away”
“It's ok darling. Your dads explained things.  Your blocking your mind link though.”
“i...” i was confused i tried mind licking Jackson... nothing. Same with my mom.
“I’m not doing it intentionally.... i linked dad this morning” i frowned....
“It must have something to do with the blood moon tonight. Dont worry about it”  Jackson said stealing a chocolate cupcake off the bench.
He straightened his posture immediately.
“The Alpha wants us in his office Mia" he said. I nodded.
I gave my mom a hug “thanks for the cake mom” i said as i grabbed a tub of cupcakes off the bench and ran from the kitchen laughing at her calling me out about healthy breakfasts.
Jackson laughed as caught up to him stealing a cupcake from the tub as i took one for myself.
“Damn your mom makes great cakes” he mumbled around a bite.
I hummed my agreement as i had just taken another bite.
Before we could even knock on the door to the Alphas office Xzaiver was there in the door way pulling me into his arms and kissing my cheek. His whole body went from tense to relaxed in a second.
“God your whipped” Jackson commented jumping out of the way of Xzaivers hand as he reached to grab him but without letting me go.
“Just wait until you find your mate. I wont hesitate to called you whipped either" he laughed.
“Enough! I smell cake and i want one before we discuss while i called you all here” Alpha Max said.
I walked into the office and placed the tub down on his desk. Beta Jones was there and i had never seen someone be so fast to grab a cupcake except for Jackson.
I laughed “ I see where Jackson gets his sweet tooth from”
He grinned at me and nodded. His mouth to full to comment.
After around 5 minutes and 0 cupcakes left to eat Alpha Max spoke.
“I've had a call from Alpha Gabriel from the Blood Moon pack..” he paused.
Everyone in the room smile’s dropped from their faces.
The Blood Moon pack was one of the fiercest and ruthless packs around.  They weren’t the biggest but they where the most feared.  The Alpha had a reputation for no mercy to those who entered his territory without permission and he didn’t attack without cause. His entire pack screamed power!
No other pack went against them or did anything that would piss them off.  Even so they where on the other side of country. A 7 day travel  by car away from us.  If even took 3 days by plan and car to get from us to them. 
“... news of you shifting early has made quite the storm its even reached them.  All the information that was put out was that you where attacked and as a result gained your wolf early. Nothing else about you has been sent out but he knows something is going on. He is traveling to meet you.  I’m sorry Mia i couldn’t refuse” Alpha Max looked at me with concerned and troubled eyes.
I  could feel Xzaivers rage and fear and his hold on my tightened. “I understand, it would cause conflict to refuse a simple meet and greet. We cannot allow any harm to fall on the pack over something so small.  How are they traveling?”
“Your seriously ok with this?!” Xaziver roared! His eyes completely black!
“Your need to clam down Storm! Both of you do. I'm your mate I understand the thought of me being around a dangerous Alpha makes you furious and uneasy but refusing a simple meeting brings trouble to the whole pack. He called ahead. He didn’t just show up here and demand. He is not starting a war and we are not starting one by refusing. Get a hold of yourself” i yelled back at him i could feel dusk pushing at the edge.
Xzavier visibly relaxed and his eye returned to normal.
“Your right. I’m sorry i wasn’t thinking straight.”
I nodded i didn’t even realise i had stood up but i began pacing the office.  I couldn’t sit still. I still only had on the large t-shirt.  I started bouncing on the balls of my feet.
“something’s not right.... why would he travel this far just to meet an early shifter.... the other packs just took my name and the explanation they never requested a meet... so why would the Alpha of the most feared pack be interested in me?... i mean i know there is more going on but that information has been kept a secret...” i rambled my thoughts out loud.
“He will be here in 3 days hopefully we will know more then... in the mean time enjoy your birthday. We will see you later on”  Alpha max dismissed us and i basically ran from the room.
“Mia... Mia!” Xzavier shouted. I had made it out of the pack house by the time i heard his call.
“I know you’re bursting at the seams with energy so will you take a run with me?”
I nodded.  Xzaiver phased in to his wolf form and followed behind.  Off we ran into the woods and we spent a couple of hours just running and playing in our wolf form.
He had lead me to the lake and played together in the water.  After a little while he lay on the bank and i lay beside him just allowing  the sun to dry our fur.
The running and playing had burnt off some energy, i still had to much but it was more controllable i didnt feel the need to moved like i did before.

I watch Xzavier in his black wolf form.  He was stunning.  I couldnt help myself when i licked his snout. He licked mine in return and before i knew it we where both in our human form and his glorious lips where on mine.
They moved together perfectly and when his tongue grazed my bottom lip for entry I granted it.
His mouth tasted of peppermint and chocolate and his tongue moved against mine expertly. Not that i had much experience.  The kisses i had in the past with others where nothing compared to the kisses i shared with Xzavier.  My whole body reacted to his kiss and no one has ever tasted as good.  No one made me react to them the way Xzavier did.
I moaned into the kiss when he pulled my naked body closer to his. He growled in response and i felt his hard length against my thigh.  I felt my arousal before the smell of it hit the air.  The ache between my legs became to much as he growled his approval at the scent. 
My fingers where in his hair pulling him so i could deepen the kiss. I wanted more of him. Much more.
