Chapter 19
When we entered the dining room that morning for breakfast. My mom and Xzavier’s mom squealed and came running to us both and pulled us in a group hug.  I heard my father growl from his seat and i laughed at the reaction. Marking each other was basically the wolf version of getting married.
“Grandbabies” both of our moms screeched at each other.
“What! Wait. No.! No grandbabies anytime soon. Get that idea out of your heads” i shouted while following them to the table.
All they did was laugh. 
I groaned as i sat down.   Since the alpha king was here there dining room was to be used for breakfast by the whole pack.
-just think mia everyone will know what you guys did last night- Jackson teased.
-That’s ok Jackson because i know what happened in your shower this morning-  i teased back. I didn’t really i was just guessing but i knew i was right when his eyes widened.
-well a guy has needs mia i..-
-I know.... i also know who your mate is...-
-wait how? ... who-
-5... 4...3..2........1-
I watch as he takes a deep smell and he stands.  His eyes dark as he recognises his mates scent.  I can tell he wants to go to her.  I was given the vision of him and his mate last night. To say i was ecstatic was an understatement. Had Courtney been 18 when they first met they would have known straight away they where mates. Xzavier being an Alpha could sense his mate even if they weren’t of age but even though Jackson is Beta and a powerful wolf he wouldn’t have known until Courtney gained her wolf and now that she has and is close to mature age he can feel the bond. She wont until her wolf allows her to and that will be the day of her birthday as normal. 
-Courtney’s my mate- he linked to me and Xzavier.
I watched as my best friend made her way to me we all had shit eating grins on our faces as she sat down next to me.
“Why is everyone so smiley this morning ?” She asked but before she could get an answer she squealed pulling me to her.
“Oh my. You marked each other. Ha-ha. I’m so happy for you both.”
“Thanks Courtney” i say pulling her into me.
-well are you going to tell her- i ask as jackson takes his seat.
-no... she’s 18 in a month. I can wait a month for her..... fuck she’s perfect- i smirk at him.
-love sick puppy already Jackson- Xzavier links teasing him like he has teased us.
-i dont even care. I get it now. Tease all you want- i laugh.
The hall falls silent as the king and his men enter. Heads bowed towards him in respect.
As Soon as they are seated the conversations resumes and so does breakfast.

Later that day I couldn’t help laughing at Jackson during lunch at school. He was finding it hard to stop himself from ripping Lucas head off when him and Courtney was flirting.
It became even more comical when he started flirting with her.  It was like watching two men battle each other on who could flirt better. Xzavier was shaking with laughter and poppy had figured out what was going on and she was enjoying the show now too.
Just before the bell rang i grabbed Courtney and pulled her up.
“Come on lets go to class” she obliged straight away.  I thrown my arm over shoulder and did the same as poppy came on my other side.
“Is it just me or was that whole lunch extremely weird”
“Not just you hon. Not just you"

The next few days passed by quickly. It was now the day all the Alphas arrived for the meeting and tomorrow they would all be gone again.
Its 12:30 and all the Alphas had arrived for the meeting. I was the only female in the room.  Females are kept out of these meetings unless it was a luna running the pack if the Alpha passed and the son wasn’t old enough to take over. That hasn’t happened in over a decade.
“What is the she wolf doing here?” one man shouted above the rest.
“She is the reason this meeting has been called. You will treat her with respect" Alpha Gabriel said.
“She your bitch Gabriel?” another growled.
Xzavier roared and grabbed the man by his shirt
“She is my mate and Luna. Speak of her like that again and i will tear you limb from limb. I dont care if it starts a war with your pack.”
The mans beta and guards rushed forward and as a result so did ours.
“That will be enough" the king said as he entered the room.  Everything stopped and the room parted to make room for the king and his men to get through.
He walked up to the front of the room.
“Alpha Gabriel is right. She is the reason this meeting has been called and you will treat her respectfully or you will not only have her mate and pack, or her uncles pack to contend with you will have the crown to deal with too.” The silence in the room was Deafening.  Having such a declaration from the king has never been done before.
“Now.. i would like to inform you all of why this meeting has been called.  There is a war coming. One the affects us all and the existence of our race.  Mia here is a blood blessed wolf. For those of you who dont know it means she has been blessed by the blood moon, giving her special abilities. Ones of these abilities is the gift of sight. She was given a vison of the upcoming war.  I have been watching Mia for the past week since my arrival here. She is strong and powerful. Even though i have Declared she is in the protection of the crown. In truth i do not believe she needs it. From what i have seen she could bring you all to your knees in a second..” i few scoffs ring around the room. The Alpha king nods towards me.
We had spoken about this meeting a few times and in what may happen. They wont believe it unless they see it.
So in a second before anyone could blink i was stood in front of one man at the back of the room. 
I touched my hand to his forehead and got a vision of him the day he met his mate.
“Your mate mira is beautiful” i said to him  and then i let my power flow from me i watched as the man in front of my fall to his knees 
I knew my eyes would be glowing a bright amber. Although my eyes never went back to their normal grey the colour they would brighten.
I turned to face the crowd and saw as the all went to there knees i made sure my power didn’t touch the king. It couldn’t be seen that he was weaker then me because of my power.  Though he had asked me to try. It worked on him but he was able to fight it off longer then anyone else.
“I do not want power. I do not want to take over anyone’s pack and i will not use my power against any of you unless it is to protect my pack my family and friends and our king...” i reign back in my power releasing them from my hold.  Before anyone could shout or yell the king spoke again.
“There is a hybrid out there who is building an army of vampires and wolves to attack and kill everyone who stands against him. He wants power and he wants the crown.  From what mia has seen he also wants to be the only one of his kind. The war i said that is coming has already started. Crown lake pack was attacked by vampires. There alpha has been killed and the pack has been taken over.  We dont not know where or when he will attack next. Mia has been unable to determine that using her gift but what she will show you is the final battle.”
“I thought she wasnt able to show anyone unless via mind link” Alpha Max asks.
“That was true a few days ago. But i have been working with Mia to help her control her gifts and find out what she is able to do. As a result we where able to find a way for her to show you all the vision” Gabriel answers.
“Now for those of you just learning of Mia and her abilities do not be alarmed by what you see her do next” the King adds.
I had been working none stop with Gabriel and even the king to find a way to share this vision. The king could easily share it via mind link with Alphas but it would take alot out of him to link the vision to everyone leaving him vulnerable
I walked towards the king and then still facing from the crowd i throw fire high into the air and stretched it out in the shape of a rectangle. There was gasps and mumbles behind me but i ignored them. Once the fire was stable in the shape i wanted i closed my eyes and using my gifts projected the vision.
I heard the gasps as the vision played out along with the warning.
‘War is coming. The hybrid leads. All will fall. Without the phoenix wolf"
I Played it again showing the faces of the bodies on the ground face of those stood in this room alive and well then i opened my eyes as i felt Xzavier place his hands in my cheeks using his thumb to wipe the tears away. It was then i realised a sob had broken out of my mouth and he pulled me to him.  I took a second to compose myself.
“you must return home. Prepare for war and protect your pack.” I raised my arms and thousands of fire balls rained down slowly and hovered above the Alphas in the room.
“These will not burn you. They contain the vision use it to strategize. To warn others.  When or if the time comes you can use it to protect your pack. Place it on the ground it will create a fire wall between you and your enemy. Giving you enough time to save your pack and run like hell to fight another day with us at the final battle”
“but that battle shows us dead" someone shouts
“Replay the vision. You will see there is one person not amongst the bodies.... Mia. The Phoenix wolf" the king says.  “We don’t not know why or how yet but we will do everything we can to ensure the war is won against the power hungry hybrid”

The next few hours are spent Strategizing with other packs. Scenarios and plans getting put in place. A few Alphas had left eager to get home and protect they where the ones that had further to travel. It wasn’t long until it was just the king and us.
A plan was in place but no one truly knew what faced us and what was coming.
Gabriel returned to his pack leaving behind Leo and a couple of his men so that messages to be passed easily.  I had grown close with my cousin it was like we had grown up together as we should have.

The next day was the day of the party at the lake.  The alpha had granted permission for wolves to attend. It may be the last time any of us have fun for a while.
I stayed back to help with some pack business since i was the future Luna.
“We need more revenue coming in to the pack if we want to be able to build more houses and facilities. A long with maintaining the standard of our pack.” Alpha max said.
“i know. Our business is doing well but the donations from the family s that have their own business are good but we may lose what we get from Courtney’s family if Justin decided to move to England for his mate.” Xzavier states.
“Your both missing a lot here. The pack is able to function and expand thanks to your family business and donations from those like my mums bakery correct.. so in order to bring in more money you don’t just need to expand on the business you already have you also need to use the talent you already have here in the pack... so for example Cleo is an artist and she is fantastic but she never has any time to create her art anymore because she is doing everything here. She never feels like she can ask for help but if we start drilling it in to our pack members that they need to help with the basics then she will have time. And we can create and share her art online she will get sales because she’s really good. So there’s some revenue coming in.  There’s a few pack members that are great with cyber technology they can create top of the line cyber security and games ect  and we could sell it. And for crying out loud we are werewolves. If we start up a professional personal security firm we can have some of the wolves working as bodyguards along with the cyber technology we can have equipment made for them and we can also sell it other company’s. We have a bunch of talented wolves use them.. we could even do some of this as joint ventures with our allied packs its would bring revenue in to them too”
“when did you think of all this?” Xzavier asks
“Since speaking with Cleo, i noticed a lot of the wolves that could have went on to expand their education didn’t. We should encourage that more.”
“you really are made to be Luna” Xzavier’s mam says as she beams at me.
“Now i could really use some fun with my best friends. So I’m going to call this working day done and go be a teenager” i laugh as i stand.
“You should call it a day too the work will still be there tomorrow... have a date night” i say to the Alpha and Luna.
They look and each other and smile.

Me Xzavier and Jackson and Leo arrive at the lake where the party is in full swing. A vision hits me of Leo and his mate its the second time I’ve had one of the future but it has only been of someone’s mate and only a few minutes ahead.   I squeal as the vision clears and then the wind shifts and Leo perks up and starts swinging his head from side to side.
“Mate" he says as he starts walking in a direction. I jump and follow behind him. Pulling Xzavier and Jackson along.
-i need to find Courtney not follow him to his mate-
-trust me we are going the right way-
Up ahead near a bonfire is Courtney with Allison and mark, Kyle and Lucas.
I hear Jackson growl as he sees Lucas and Courtney sitting next to each other. Then i shift my head to the side and see poppy talking to some guy i haven’t met before his hand is on her hip and i have to quickly grab Leo before her tears the guy apart.
“Humans here remember. Dont go ripping him apart and she isnt 18 until next week remember that"  he growls at me but  he nods.
-Poppy is his mate-
-oh yeah. I got the vision as we got to the beach-
I watch as Leo goes up and pushes into the small gap between poppy and the guy.
He offers her his hand and asks her to dance.
I notice the moment her eyes widen slightly as she realises his wolves eyes and it clicks to her what is going on. She grabs his hand and gives the guy a sheepish smile before walking away with Leo.  Leo relaxes as he walks back over to us.
“Poppy meet my cousin Leo” i say a big smile on my face.
“Your my...mate” she says.
“Yes and i know your not 18 yet so you dont feel the connection”
“oh god. I’m mated to the future alpha of blood moon.... this cant be happening.... i’m not....” she trails off as Leo looks heartbroken.
“Poppy.. slow down ok. You have nothing to worry about trust me”
“i know what you said Mia but I’m not made to be Luna ... are you going to reject me?” She asks him.
“What... no never! Your beautiful and perfect i would never reject you” he pulls her in for a hug and she relaxes.
I smile. 
“So now that drama is sorted i need to stop Jackson from ripping lucas head off. Excuse me.”  Xzaiver had been holding Jackson back as the Poppy and Leo sorted themselves out. Now i had to do something to stop more drama.
I run to Courtney and tackle her on to the sand behind her.
“COURTNEY!!!! I MADE IT" I laugh and shout loud enough to ensure i was heard by lucas above the music. So that i would just come across loud and bubbly
“i can see that now get off me you big goof" she says as she pushes me.
I jump up and pull her up too but i sit down and pull her on to my knee and give her a hug.
“I’m so glad to be here. To have some fun with my best friends.”
We do just that. We spend a lot of hours laughing and dancing.
Once the party slows down we make sure our friends all get home safe and then we head home.
Me and Xzavier walked into the pack house, Jackson had walked Courtney home. I wondered if he would just tell her about being her mate. Leo went with poppy so they could get to know each other better. 
Once we where in his room Xzavier had pulled me to him kissing me with unadulterated passion.  He hands ran down and grabbed my ass before moving lower where he griped my thighs and lifted me. I wrap my legs around him and moaned into the kiss as my back touched the wall.
He broke the kiss to take off my top and threw it to the side.
“I’ve wanted to get you naked all god damn day” he lowered me then and stripped me he quickly stripped off his own clothes and then he was back to kissing me.
His hand lowered to the middle of my legs and he growled when he felt how wet i already was for him. He pushed his fingers in to me while his thumb rubbed against my clit.
it wasn’t long until i needed more and he had me begging for him
“Xzavier please...”
He pulled his fingers out of me and sucked them.
“You taste so good Mia" he said. Then he picked me again and brought his lips to mine as thrust into me.
He fucked me hard against the wall. It was animalistic in his movements and he claimed every inch of me. I cried out his name as he pushed me over the edge.
“I’m so not done with you yet beautiful” he said as kissed me and then i was on the bed with him between my legs and thrust into me again and again hitting that sweet spot just right every time.
Before i could come again he stopped and flipped me over so i was on all fours.

“Tell me if i hurt you beautiful” he said. I felt as he wrapped my hair around his fist and he pulled as he thrust into me.
“Dont stop....Xzaiver. I want all of you. Dont hold back" i gasped as he took me harder the pain mixed with pleasure in a perfect way and it wasn’t long until we both yelled our release.
He collapsed on top of me but rolled to the side pulling me with him as he spooned me.  Holding me in his arms and kissing my shoulder it was a perfect way to end the night.

A.N sorry for the delay. I have been wanting to stay 1 chapter ahead of what i am posting.
But even though i know where i want the stroy to go im having a bit of trouble with filler chapters and c-development. So im writing 20... and its only half done.
