Thorn was the first to wake up as usual panting from a nightmare. Once calming down she gently got up trying not to wake the other as she went to the pond to wash off her dusty fur

Soon Tyson joined her, "Good morning Thorn." he yawned out making Thorn smile "Good morning Tyson. Did you sleep well." Thorn asks as Tyson nods, "Yes of course what's the plans for today?" Tyson asks curiously. As Thorn smirks, "Don't Tell the other two, but I'm thinking of taking the three of you to the park today, but only if they behave." Thorn says to Tyson who nods, "That sounds great." Tyson says as he looked to the others. Well it looks like their not going to wake up anytime soon. What do you say about abandoning them for a little while, and having a hunt just like old times." Tyson asks as Thorn wags her tail at the idea. "I'm in I know Jade and Diamond will kill me later for leaving them with Dove and Blaze. Now come on before I change my mind." Thorn told Tyson who quickly ran after the bigger dog as they headed to their old hunting grounds.

"Wow it's been forever since we been here." Thorn says looking at the beauty all around her. It had been quite a while since her and Tyson had snuck off to be alone, so they had not been in this place for over eight months.

None of the other black members knew about this flowery  hunting ground other then Thorn and Tyson, and they were pretty determined to keep it that way. As this was there so called special s and very secret place. Was just for the two of them as they had found it months prior a little before Fang had taken over

(Flashback)

Come on Tyce we don't have all day let's go hunt before the prey go out to hunt for themselves" Thorn said impatiently waiting for the Corgi mix who was still half asleep. Thorn groaned as she picks up Tyson. Throwing him in the air before catching him on her back.

Tyson barked out madly, "Hey what was that for?" Tyson says jumping off Thorn's back. Thorn smirked, "That was to get your lazy behind up and to get you ready to hunt!" Thorn says and started to walk beside Thorn as they went to the hunting grounds to hunt.

Alright Tyce..." Before Thorn could even finish her sentence Tyce ran off, but he wasn't gone for long as he quickly disrupted Thorn's hunting. When he came up with a white flower in his mouth. Before dropping it in front of Thorn. "Mom I got this for you." Tyson says excitedly all his innocence flowing off of him. Thorn although irritated about losing her meal smiled softly at the pup. It always made her heart swell when Tyson called her that. She wasn't planning on being a mother to him, but now she couldn't imagine her life with out him. "Tyson where did you find this?" Thorn asked as she had never saw this type of flower before. But it was very beautiful.

Tyson motioned over to a drainage pipe, "I'll show you." He barked excited running through the pipe, Thorn scrambling to keep up with the pup, her pup. "Tyson wait up!" Thorn exclaims panting as Tyson's stops at the end of the pipe. Thorn gladly stops as well her eyes widening in awe at seeing what Tyson found. It was almost like a garden and it was absolutely amazing. "It beautiful right mom?" Tyson questions his stub of a tail wagging. Thorn nods and smiled back, "Yes, yes it is." Thorn replies.

A few months path and Tyson and Thorn had found themselves coming to this place more and more to get away from Fang. On one particularly hard evening both dog like in the grassy area eating the mice that they had so easily caught. Both caught up in the silence. "Mom.... I mean Thorn when will  Fang leave." Tyson whimpered as Thorn sighs having no clue on how to answer that question as she had no idea, "I don't know bud, I don't know." Thorn told Tyson who let his worried flow out of him since they were alone in their place no one not even Thorn knew about.

"What happens if we break. What happens if you turn bad what happens if we get separated or hurt. I can't take Fang hurting you or me why can't we just leave?" Tyson asks nearly sobbing. Thorn quickly went over to him carefully picking a pink rose and putting it down on the ground. "You think way to much." Thorn says as she curls up around him protectively. Before continuing, "First off I will never ever leave you. No matter how hard Fang tries to break us or make us leave each other. We're family I won't ever leave you behind. Second off I would never turn on you again were family. Now get some rest pup. We'll have to face Fangs wrath again tommorow.

(End of Flashback)

Thorn sighed glad those days were over and that now her Tyson and their pack were free from their captor. Thorn then felt a tap on her shoulder. She looks down to see Tyson holding a white flower similar to the one he had brought her months ago and she was really surprised they hadn't went dormant. "Thorn I picked this for you." Tyson says happily making Thorn smile as she picks it up and places it on her ear. "Thanks Tyce it's beautiful." Thorn says nuzzling the pup who smiled. "I missed this." Tyson says making Thorn cock her head. "What do you miss Tyson?" Thorn asked.

Tyson sighs, "Don't get me wrong I love the rest of the pack, but I sometimes miss the days when it was just you and I facing everything. Us coming here whenever we pleased. Hunting together. "I miss being the only pup, and I really, really miss calling you mom." Tyson told Thorn who was so surprised to hear that word again as if any of the pups were to call her that they would be injured.

"Oh Tyson. I sometimes miss those days too, but look on the bright side this place is all ours and ours only. I won't tell anyone if you don't, and you can call me mom whenever you please now that Fang is gone. Just keep a good eye and ear out." Thorn says making Tyson wag his tail. "Really?!" Tyson asks excitedly Thorn nodded, "Of course now let's go we don't want the pack to worry and we don't want them to find our secret place do you." Thorn says playfully. Making Tyson laugh, "Definitely not Mom."
