Moon's Discovery

Moon woke up with her brothers and sisters curled up by her the second oldest groans shaking her head and heading to where her mother, father, Tyson and Dove would be. The all black dog took a few paces before smelling something different. It was early morning the sun's rays weren't even above the mountains that were so far away.

She then goes to the other other old car. "Good morning Mom!" She says to Thorn who looks up from her sleeping spot. "Hey Moon your up early." Thorn says getting up and stretching she then heard Tyson from the other wheel place. "Thorn it's time for our hunt." Tyson calls out quietly as Thorn nods, "I'll be right there Tyce." Thorn calls back as Moon wags her tail: Mama, mama, can I go please, please, please, please,please!"

Moon asks as Thorn rolls her eye playfully "I guess you can, but you better not scare all of the prey." Thorn says making Moon wag her tail, as she Tyson and her Mom walked away from the territory. The huntings grounds were peaceful and it looked absolutely beautiful out there. Moon watched as her mother and older brother bent down in their hunting stances.

Moon watches them before trying to do a hunting stances herself she wanted to help her mom and her big brother! She swiftly smelled the air instantly finding a mouse scent Moon didn't quite know why but she followed this smell. She then saw the mice in sight she quickly jumped, but over jumped it landing on the ground with a thud before getting up and running after the mice finally snagging the mouse and biting it's head harshly.

Thorn and Tyson quickly came over to her with the gopher they had caught together. "Good catch Pup it looks like you definitely have Mother's hunting skills." Tyson says ruffling Moon's fur making the pup laugh. "Thanks Tyce and ohh you two caught gopher my favorite Moon says trying to take a bite out of it. Thorn and Tyson quickly drag it away. "Ah, ah, uhh. You don't get any until we drag this home to your father's and other siblings." Thorn says making Moon groan, "Fine." As they headed back to where their family was.

Thorn, Tyson, and Moon went back home to see Arrow and Dove waiting for them as the three other puppies were playing about. Arrow and Dove immediately came up to them happily before nuzzling Thorn, "Hey hon looks like you three had a good hunt." Arrow says as Moon wags her tail, "Daddy, daddy I caught a mouse! " Moon tells her father excitedly as Arrow wags his tail. "That's amazing huntress you definitely got your mom's hunting skills." Arrow says as Tyson nods, "I know Dad, little sis is going to be an amazing hunter." Tyson says as Thorn nods, "Yeah she does and yeah it was a great hunt."

Thorn says as she called the other pups over. "Pups breakfast. Thorn says as three other flashes of fur run over. "Mommy, Moon your back!" Rosalyn says excitedly as Thorn nods and Moon nods. "Yeah Rosie we're back." Moon says to her younger sister as she nudged the mouse towards her, "Here I caught your favorite."  Moon says as Rosalyn smiles, "Thanks sis smells amazing." Rosalyn says as she starts eating.

Moon then noticed a gopher leg in front of her, "Yes gopher!" Moon says digging in as she started eating Thorn and Arrow chuckled at the hungry puppies, before eating, themselves.

After eating Thorn told the pups to play so they did. "Hey Moon I bet ya can't do this Briar say as he tries  to do a front flip, but falling on his back instead making the other three puppies laugh, before Spectro says, "Don't worry Briar you'll get it next time.." Spectro says as the two girl roll their eyes, "Yeah sure he will." Rosalyn says with a laugh as she and Moon walked over to another old piece of junk and hopping on top of it looking at their pack's territory.

"Rosie do you ever wonder what mommy's daddy's Dove and Tyson use to do in New York City?" Moon asks as Rosalyn shook her head, "No I didn't, but I bet New York City is way busier then the outskirts we lived in." Rosalyn says as Moon nods. "Do you think Mom and Dad had a pack before there's?" Moon asks as Rosalyn groans at her sisters continuous questions. "I don't know Moon why do you ask?" Rosie asks as Moon sighs, " I just want to know what we came from I want to know our history." Moon says as Rosalyn rolls her eyes, "Then ask Mom and Dad they know their history." Rosalyn says as Moon nods.

"Maybe I will." Moon says as Rosalyn nods as she and her sister continued to talk. Before both smelled and heard something. "Rosie did you hear that?" Moon asks as Rosalyn nods, "Yeah I did." She says as Moon jumps down "Then come on!" Moon says, as  Rosalyn shook her head. "Moon what are you doing. We should get Mom!" Rosie says but Moon had already run towards the noise. Rosie groans, "Just great, Spectro, Briar! Get mom and dad." Rosie says running after Moon as Spectro barks out, "Got it!"

Moon was curious about what the noise was and to follow the smell that oddly smelled like her older sisters tail? So she stalked about her territory before hearing paw steps behind her. "Moon this is a bad idea." Rosie hisses out quietly as Moon shook her head no. "No it's not it's out territory we have to protect it." Moon says making Rosalyn roll her eyes. "Yeah but that's mom and dad's job now let's wait for them." Rosalyn whispers out as Moon just continued following the smell as Rosalyn followed her.

They soon got to another trashy area with a broken boat where they saw four six dogs out and about. "This is bad." Rosie barks out as Moon just continued walking. "Moon stop we don't know them. They could be bad." Rosalyn barks trying talk some sense into her older sister. Before both here there mother say. "Pups what's going on." Thorn asks before looking to the pack of dogs on the other side of the grass instantly recognizing two of them. "Blaze, Pumpkin is that really you? Arrow Tyson Dove get over here!" Thorn asks making both female puppies look up their mother knew them?
