this is back to the past when andy gets a medal of valor for saving 9 kids i one day and surving falling inside of a burning building twice

andy was packing her bags to go fly all the way from seattle to texas, to get a medal of valor from the jack pritchard, the most famous firefighter for, saving a child with developmental disabilities who was trapped on the thrid floor of a burning building. well he was the most famous firefighter, before andy took over for that job, her whole team had a private jet to get there.

"andy cmon celebrate, you got us a private jet, and you are the most famous firefighter now, so relax, your speech is not for another three days aandd you're done your speech so come relax, then when we get to texas we can flat iron our uniforms" maya said in a matter-of-fact-ly way.
andys doctors were in the jet also since they saved andys life thousands of times.
" thank you mer, derek, april, christina, teddy, maggie, bailey, and webber, for attending this amazing opportunity, thank you my amazing family, and most of all thank you mer, and derek, for welcoming me into your home untill i can get back on my feet from that jerk robert, thank you for every girl in this room for beating him up when i was in the hospital" andy said while raising her glass of water.
" TO THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY ANDY HAS BEEN GIVEN" every one yelled and raised their glass

andy was standing at the back of stage waiting for the medal of valor to be hanged from her neck. when the medal came, after it was the time for her speech.

" hello im andrea herrera, being a firefighter is dangerous but with all the adrynaline rushing through you it makes it seem less dangerous, i became a firefighter because of my father, who could not attend today as he died a few months ago, falling inside a burning building to save lives is dangerous to everyone not just to you, i survived two of those and possibly more latter on. i brought my doctors that saved me more that once after a fire, and i'd like to thank them for being able to come here today, i would also like to thank my station, staion 19 has always been here for me, i grew up there when my father was the captain, when my uncle was the captain,thanks to 19 i will never forget those memories especially the callendar, that was embarassing but we did it to collect money to give my father a proper goodbye, thank you to meredith grey, and derek shepperd, for welcoming me into your lives, after the death of my father and best friend, ryan tanner, my mother died when i was 9, and im an only child so when my father died i had not more blood relatives but i had my station, who opened up to me and welcomed me into their lives as well, i would also like to thank jack pritchard for this opportunity, i hope my kids one day will learn up to me and become firefighters like their parents, if i marry a firefighter, haha, thats all for my speech thank you again, goodbye" andy said finishing her speech and looked at her family wiping their eyes, she then hugged jack pritchard and went to stand in the back as he finished the ceremony.
